Overview

Welcome to the resources guide for Arknights! We will be going over all the resources you need in the game to progress and show you how to earn them efficiently and how to spend them.

Resources

There are a lot of resources that you will need in order to progress in the game. We will go over the most basic ones first, then we move into character resources.

Currency

LMD – Your main currency used for a variety of things, such as upgrading/leveling operators

Originium– The premium currency that you use to summon banners in Headhunt or buy specific operator skins. Can also be gotten from completing missions and is a very rare resource.

Orundum – Also premium currency, but you can earn them in game. These are also used to summon for operators.

Qualification Certificate (Green) – Used to buy items from Commendations tab. You can also get these from recruitment of 3 star or lower operators.

Advanced Certificate (Yellow) – Used to buy items from Distinctions tab. You can buy rare 6 star operators. When you summon 4 star and higher operators from the recruitment or headhunting, you also get these.

Purchase Certificate (Red) – Used to buy items from Shop Vouchers. You can buy contracts for operators here.

Promotion/Leveling Materials

The battle records are cards that you use to level up your operators. You can get them from some story mode quests and also from Tactical Drill, which is under Supplies tab in game and is open 24/7.

Drill Battle Record – Gains 200 EXP. Gotten via LS-1 to LS-5.

Frontline Battle Record – Gains 400 EXP. Gotten via LS-2 to LS-5.

Tactical Battle Record – Gains 1000 EXP. Gotten via LS-3 to LS-5.

Strategic Battle Record – Gains 2000 EXP. Gotten via LS-3 to LS-5.

When it comes to promoting operators, you will need to do Chips Mission for specific chips based on their classes.

This is where you farm from class promotion materials. I have included KyostinV’s low rarity operator guides to aid you in clearing the maps with less level requirements.

Unstoppable Charge (Wed/Thu/Sat/Sun)

Promotion materials are available here for Vanguards and Supporters. There are many fast units and also units that will slip pass your blockers.

Fearless Protection (Tue/Wed/Sat/Sun)

Promotion materials are available here for Specialists and Guards.

Solid Defense (Mon/Thu/Fri/Sun)

Promotion materials are available here for Defenders and Medics. In this map, you will need at least 2 healers to keep your attackers alive, since you lose hp over time. Enemies here are weaker to physical damage, so bring snipers, vanguards and guards.

PR-A-2

Fierce Attack (Mon/Tue/Fri/Sat)

Promotion materials are available here for Rangers and Casters. For this mode, you want to use majority Rangers and some Casters. Most of the enemies are flying drones and you will want to stop them before they fly into your base.

Shop

There are quite a bit of stuff you can get from the shop. I will break down the various sections and brief you on some of the more important things you should pay attention to.

Recommended

The recommended section is the area where you get an overview of new packs, sales, outfits or anything that isn’t regularly sold in the other shop sections. For any players that are supporting the game, I suggest the monthly card, which gives 6 originite primes, 6000 orundums and 30 sanity potions for 5 dollars. It is a great deal and good value.

This game is already very F2P friendly, so it is not really a necessity to buy it. Limited furniture is also a something you want to look at if you like decorating your RIIC base.

Originium

If you want to spend more, then the $99.99 one gives you the most bang for your buck. 260 originium will allow you to play for a long time or buy all kinds of outfits you so desire. You can only get the bonus once though.

Packs

The free pack is a no brainer that you must get every time you gain 5 levels. You are going to get free packs to level 60. Each pack will give you additional resources that you will need to help you progress in the game.

The Pro Enhancement Pack

These are also well worth it since it converts the Originium into Orundum (for summoning) and you also get a bunch of other goodies (mostly promotion/enhancement materials) that you can use to skill up and promote your operators. I would recommend at least getting these up to the level 40 pro pack. It will have the required materials needed to promote your first E2 operator and these packs will really save you a lot of sanity and time grinding for it. Keep in mind promotion to E2 takes a lot of LMD and items to do so.

Outfit Store

This is where you get your skins for your favourite operators. The good thing is that this game is F2P friendly and you can spend your originium here for your favourite characters. Most 3 star outfits are free. Anything higher will cost 15 originium for a limited costume. You are welcome to spend it on any outfits you really like.

Certificate

In here, you can buy a lot of goodies.

The Commendation section allows you to get the orundum or headhunting permit for summoning/headhunting. Both are worth getting if you want to pull the latest operators that you really like. Other items can be skipped since you can farm or obtain them from other parts of the game.

The Distinction section allows you to buy rare 5 and 6 star operators, their tokens for improving their potential. I would recommend saving it for operators that you really want.

In Shop Voucher, you can buy specific class tokens to improve their potential or buy rare 4 or 5 star operators. You can farm the Purchase Certificate from Tough Siege (Mon/Thu/Sat/Sun).

Furniture Store

The furniture store sells limited furniture items that gives more bonus ambience compared to regular furniture. So if you are very much into building and decorating your RIIC base, you will want to buy the limited furniture.

Credit Store

The Credit Store is great for buying materials for promotion and also finding 4 star operators from time to time. I suggest only buying things that are 50% off so you maximise your spending here. Just make sure to claim your credit daily. Doing investigations or selling leftover clues in RIIC base will also net you more friend credits here.
