04 (Fox) is a 4 stars Assault character in Artery Gear.
04 is a free unit that is given early on in chapter 2 normal completion. She is actually very good for new players if they didn't pull Grace yet. She can cleave effectively like Grace, although she does need more crit chance to do so reliably.
Since she gets her own attack buff on skill 3, she is almost guaranteed to kill the wave in general fodder farming once she is geared. Her combo is really simple. Start with S3, then S2 follow-up for the kills. Usually, the first wave doesn't die to the skill 3 due to not having an attack buff. This is fine as long as you are able to call out the assist mode Rela for the bonus crit rate and attack. The second and third wave mobs will die to that. However, skill 3 does get the skill cooldown reduced by 1 for as many units destroyed. If she kills 2 units or more, she can use the skill again next turn. So if your gear is stacked, she does just as well as Grace.
Since she gets crit rate awakening, she is much easier to hit 100% crit rate. Try to get as much atk% and crit dmg% on her gear sub stats as much as possible.
Aside from fodder farming, she is also decent as a cleave unit for PvP in lower ranks. Alongside Grace, she can be the budget F2P PvP team. I actually do use her alongside Grace, Alice and Timy as the offense/defense team. She is there to clean up what Grace can't kill.
Do not overlook her while you chase after 5 star waifu cleavers like Milvus. They are much harder to max skill and be effective compared to 04.
