In this beginners guide, we will go over the basics of how to find Ripple Dimensions, where to look for Dhalia and Ye Suhua so you can build your F2P team!

Ripple Dimension Basics

You can activate Ripple Dimensions by either doing Ritual Miracle or Sonic Miracle runs. The difficulty does not affect the trigger chance. The actual percentage of triggering a Ripple is 1%. It then increases by another 1% each time stamina is being used there. The max chance than caps at 10%. Only 1 ripple can be triggered ever 12 hours.

Ripple Name 88% 6% 6% Number of Users
Bardon 50 20
Chang Pu 100 20
Brynn 1 20
Drew 1 20
Li Ao 100 20
Zelmer 100 20
Hall 100 20
Tang Yun 100 20
Freddy 100 20
David 100 20
Berenice 100 20
Leon 100 20
Helena 1 20
Jeanne 100 20
Unky Chai 100 20
Ye Suhua 100 30
Dhalia 100 30

As you can see from the table, there is a 6% chance out of the 100 to get either Ye Suhua or Dhalia. The chance is quite low, however, you can also join your friend’s ripples and also public ripples, which you can access via chat.

Each Ye Suhua ripple gives you 5 fragments, which you need 30 to complete and summon her. For each Dhalia ripple, you can get 8 fragments and you need 40 to complete and summon her. In other words, you need to find and enter 6 Ye Suhua ripples and 5 Dhalia ripples to summon them.

I get the frustration of not being able to enter most of the public ones. The thing is, most of the public ripples are often full because the ripple first gives priority to the friends list. After 15 minutes, it is then open to the public. If the user has a lot of friends, chances are the ripple will already have been filled.

Tips to Find Ye Suhua and Dhalia Ripples

Having played for 1 month, here are some tips to get them quicker. The best way to do so is to add active friends. The more active they are, the higher chances you will find it quicker. The other method is to find them yourself, although it will take a long time. The other option is to stalk public ripples, which I will expand below.

I did not start to focus on getting them until day 23 of the game. And then, in a span of a weekend, I was able to get them both.

Here is how I did it. I joined channel 16 and noticed that during midnight central European time, there is less people there. This increases my chances of finding empty Ye Suhua or Dhalia ripples. Do keep in mind you always have to keep a lookout at chat for this. You will want to do this and research between 16-100 english channels and see which one has less people during specific times.

In slow channels like 16 (could be busy once this is out :P), you have a much better chance to find an empty one.

Heck, you can also venture into other language channels past 100 and see if you can find a good one. I have personally seen people already with max resonance Dhalias and Ye Suhuas, which I believe they camp at a specific channel and keep an eye out for them.

I am usually auto battling either Kronos or Apep 10 runs. So I minimize them and pay attention to chat. If there is a public ripple available, I quickly click on it just out of habit. Sometimes, you need quick fingers to get in.

You only have to do this for a week to get them both. Max resonance is a bit overkill as it only gives negligible stats to them. Good luck with finding them and enjoy the game!

Dislyte PvP Point Wars Guide [How to Climb for F2P Players] https://gachax.com/dislyte/point-wars-guide-how-to-climb-for-f2p-players/ https://gachax.com/dislyte/point-wars-guide-how-to-climb-for-f2p-players/#respond Sat, 04 Jun 2022 19:13:36 +0000 https://gachax.com/dislyte/?p=1436 Welcome to the Point Wars guide for new players! In this tutorial, we will go over the key mechanics of this PvP Ai system so you can earn as much PvP tokens to buy those goodies in the tournament shop.

Why Do Point Wars (PvP)?

Point Wars is one of the few ways to consistently get the rare legendary abilimon, which is used to rank up your legendary esper skills. Some legendary espers need the skill cooldown reduction to be super effective for their roles. Otherwise, their full potential is not unlocked until then.

Point Wars also gives you consistent nexus crystal and supply voucher income. Depending on your rankings, you get a fixed amount weekly.

Tier Points Reward Crystals Weekly Reward Weekly
1 150 8 50 300
2 250 8 60 320
3 400 8 70 340
4 600 10 80 360
5 850 10 90 380
6 1150 10 100 400
7 1500 12 120 420
8 1900 12 140 440
9 2350 12 160 460
10 2850 14 180 480
11 3400 14 200 500
12 4000 14 240 520
13 4600 16 280 540
14 5200 16 320 560
15 5800 15 360 580
16 6400 18 400 600
17 Top 1000 18 600 620
18 Top 100 18 800 640

What to Buy in the Tournament Shop?

For a new player, the  “The Light Above” Mui II piece with a ATK% main stat is a really good first buy. You need 6 star pieces for your initial DPS espers and this will be on of the pieces. The other Mui I piece can wait. Then, the legendary abilimon is the most important one to buy on a weekly basis.

After that, the gold records and epic abilimons are next. I would give up on the epic abilimons if I do not have enough left to buy. Gold records are a must in my opinion as over the long run, you want to keep pulling espers to improve your chances at another legendary esper. So to summarize:

  1. The Light Above Mui II (ATK%)
  2. Legendary Abilimon
  3. Gold Records x2
  4. Epic Abilimon
  5. 50 Nexus Crystal
  6. 5★ Starimon
  7. 50k Gold
  8. 100k Gold
  9. Elite Experimon
  10. The Light Above Mui II (Optional)

Battle Strategy

For early game to help you climb to tier 7, which is where you start getting 12 supply vouchers per win. On a weekly basis, you get 420 supply vouchers and 120 nexus crystals, which is pretty good for its difficulty level. You do not have to have a top tier team to get there. So that would be the first goal.

So when you are trying to find opponents, the game gives you 5 times to choose from, with the option to refresh the teams every 30 seconds. Alternatively, you can do 1 battle and usually it will allow you to refresh once.

The top right opponent will always be 2 tiers higher than you. The middle 2 will be 1 tier above you. The bottom 2 will always be 1 or 2 tiers below you. When fighting the bottom 2 opponents, you only get supply vouchers for wins and not get any PvP points. So if you want to stay in the same rank, you just keep fighting the bottom 2 opponents.

However, if you want to climb the arena, then you have to fight the top 3 opponents. They will provide you with PvP points to get to the next tier.

When you start winning battles consecutively, you get bonus PvP points for keeping the streak.

  • Win 1 battle – 1 bonus PvP Point
  • Win 2 battles in a row – 2 bonus PvP Point
  • Win 3 battles or more in a row – 3 bonus PvP Points

You want to keep the streak going to maximize your ability to climb the arena. You will also get a feel of which teams you can beat. Also, if you don’t have good speed relics, it is better to tackle teams with ATK or HP leads over SPD leads. This gives you a better chance here.

F2P Team Building

Now let’s talk about building a basic team to help you climb. You are welcome to replace anyone if you manage to pull an epic or legendary esper that does that role better. Below are your F2P choices:

DPS

Generally speaking, you want AoE over single target, but you work with what you have.

Let’s talk about Li Ling and Tang Xuan first since you can get one of them in your first 10 pulls. They both have AoE attacks that can scale off percentage HP of enemies, so they will be effective against tanks. Also, it is better to build a cleave team as it makes the battles go faster overall. You cannot really go wrong with either, although Li Ling will perform better in PvE overall due to him being useful in Kronos.

Mona isn’t the best for PvP, but she can be your starter cleave attacker alongside either Tang Xuan or Li Ling. She also covers the latter’s element disadvantage. She is also free, so why not use her?

Drew is also quite good, if you can get his attack really high and if he kills a target, he can delete other espers easily due to ignore defense. Best cleanup character. I think Dislyte is quite generous to give us a free unit that does decently well in PvP.

Tang Xuan is a bit of an RNG fest type characer due to his extra attacks from Iron Polearm. His second and third skill can trigger his basic skill, sometimes making him do surprise damage that one is not expecting.

Freddy is a bit of a menace when left with low health. He can get standoff and attack buff, allowing him to delete key units of the opposing team. He is vulnerable to buff strips, but at low tier PvP, it is not so common at all.

Leon is also very good, if you can get a debuff heavy team together for him. His 3rd skill can hit really hard when enemy is debuffed since he doesn’t need crit rate.

Zelmer is also another situational type that relies on debuffs for big damage. She does require a lot of debuffs to deal bonus damage though, so it isn’t as reliable as Leon or Freddy.

Controller

Melanie is a really good controller to reduce enemy AP. Works best if you need to delay some key espers from moving. However, with so many Gabrielle’s, it is hard for her to do her job unless someone else can strip immunity buff.

Lucas is free from the Spatial Tower 100, but I am not sure how long will they keep him there. He is one of the few AoE buff strippers in the game. His skill 2 can stun while his skill 1 can steal AP. He is very good as just pure support or built with some damage.

Jeanne is also a bit overlooked. Her stuns can be clutch and her skill 3 strips all buffs from 1 target of choice. All 3 of her skills can stun, which makes her also quite good in Cube Miracle and Spatial/Temporal Tower.

Support/Healer

Gabrielle is a main stay in your team due to her ability to provide immunity and defense buff. She can also apply attack down and defense break, both very useful debuffs. Make her speed and have her open with either skill 2 or 3 depending on the situation.

Fabrice is also a decent support if you are running a more defensive team. He provides immunity and can push 1 ally to the top, which is most likely going to be your DPS.

Ye Suhua is also an excellent choice, although she is harder to get as you need to camp chat for her Ripples. Aside from that, she gives attack and defense buff, giving both offense and defense together. She can heal and give invincibility to an ally as well.

Brynn is the budget Dhalia. You can use her in a cleave team for her attack buff. However, she cannot push your team up to chain AoE the enemies unfortunately.

Dhalia is the perfect choice for cleave teams. If you focus around 70% crit rate for your damage dealers, she will make it up with her attack and crit rate buff + AP push. This is key in having your attackers cut in to deal damage as well. Very good support that can also hard freeze a key unit with her skill 2. She is also from the Ripple Dimension, so it may take a while.

Chang Pu can be a decent healer that also grants you immunity. However, she needs to be fast to avoid getting your team debuffed. She works well early on, but will fall off going into mid tier arena.

A Basic Cleave Team

This is a very basic team to give you the best advantage possible. Feel free to replace each role with better espers you pulled. Melanie is the AP controller and the budget speed leader. Gabrielle is there for immunity and defense buff plus maybe debuffing enemies. Dhalia is there to push your team up for alongside attack and crit rate buff. Li Ling and Mona is there to finally follow up with their AoE attacks. You will have to speed tune the team though.

  • Gabrielle -> Dhalia -> Melanie -> Li Ling or Mona

This team works well if you can outspeed most Gabrielle’s. However, if the enemy team is fast and has buff strips, there is a good chance you can lose. However, this team is enough to get you to Tier 6 for sure, which is the bare minimum you want to be in to safely get that legendary abilimon weekly.

By the way, to save building more units, this team is also going to be your defense team. This will deter most players from attacking you.

Bonus Tip

If you are comfortable with your arena rank, you can just place a 1 unit defense to lower your win rate. Since you will not de-rank if you are tier 11 or lower, this makes sense to do so as you will just sit at that specific tier and farm supply vouchers. You also want to fight the bottom 2 players to just farm easy points instead of killing yourself fighting tougher enemies.

Also, you do not want to climb too fast in the arena. If you feel that you are having trouble winning matches, you are going too fast. Just stay in that rank until you can win more matches.

Dislyte Cube Miracle Guide for Beginners https://gachax.com/dislyte/cube-miracle-guide-for-beginners/ https://gachax.com/dislyte/cube-miracle-guide-for-beginners/#respond Fri, 03 Jun 2022 19:09:20 +0000 https://gachax.com/dislyte/?p=1401 Welcome to the Cube Miracle guide for new players! In this tutorial, we will go over the mechanics and tips to help you earn more currency to buy the goodies from the Cube Shop!

Why Do Cube Miracle?

The Cube Miracle gives really good rewards to provide you with the currency to buy awesome items in the game on a bi-weekly basis. This includes:

  • 6 Star Attack Set (1 time only)
  • Relic Essence x10 – 15 Purple Cube Each
  • Gold Record x2 – 400 Blue Cube Each
  • Epic Abilimon x1 – 300 Blue Cube
  • Epic Abilimon x5 – 600 Blue Cube Each
  • Rare Abilimon x8 – 100 Blue Cube Each
  • 100k Gold x5 – 200 Blue Cube Each
  • 50k Gold x10 – 100 Blue Cube Each
  • Advanced Experimon x5 – 60 Blue Cube Each
  • Rare Starimon x1 – 100 Blue Cube Each

The key items here to get is the 6 star attack set as a beginner. It will help build a solid DPS esper for you. After that, you want to get the 2 Gold Records, which gives you 1 per week. After that, the epic abilimon that costs 300 blue cubes is a steal that you should definitely get. The 600 blue cube ones are a bit pricey and I suggest getting the rare abilimon since you can use them to skill up some important key beginner espers like Drew, Chang Pu, Ye Suhua and Berenice.

The gold and rare starimon are situational picks and should be bought last if you have leftover blue cubes left. I personally would not recommend you get the advanced experimon since you will be getting plenty of them in XP stages.

Check out our resources guide here if you haven’t already.

Cube Miracle Basics

So in this mode, you get to challenge a group of 5 espers of various types and defeating each one will get you some rewards, depending on the difficulty. You will also be getting bonus runes to help improve your team. Your objective is simple:

  • Travel through 3 maps and defeat your foes
  • Pick up bonus runes to improve your team
  • Upgrade your runes, hire bonus ally or revive dead ally
  • Defeat the final team

Currently, there are 8 difficulty levels, with 1-4 for beginners and 5-8 for mid game to late game players. Once you have a solid team of 6 espers that can complete hard mode, you can start looking to do level 5 and 6 difficulty. Otherwise, it is okay to stick with the lower ones.

The Cube Miracle resets every 2 days, so make sure to complete them every other day.

Runes

So in each map, you will have the chance to get various runes. Here is a list of them:

Rune of Dauntlessness – Allied espers deal an extra 0.5% damage per 1% HP lost

Rune of Assault – Increases ally ATK by 25%. Upgrade – Whenever an ally deals damage, increases ally’s ATK by 1%, up to 25%.

Rune of Enchargement – Allied Espers gain 1 stack of Charge upon casting a basic ability. Each stack increases basic ability by 30%, up to 5 stacks.

Rune of Shock Strike – Damage from allied Espers has a(n) 30% chance of reducing the target’s AP by 25%. Upgrade – If the target already has 0 AP left, inflicts stun for 1 turn.

Rune of Mitigation – Reduces ally damage taken by 15%.

Rune of Fortitude – Single-target ability damage, taken by any allied Esper, is distributed evenly between the target and the allied Esper with the highest HP.

Rune of Absorption – Allied Espers restore HP equal to 35% of damage dealt.

Rune of Blades – Upon taking a hit, allied Espers have a(n) 30% chance to gain Recovery for  1 turn.

Rune of Precision – Increases ally ACC by 35%. Upgrade – If ACC is above 100% after the boost, reduces Miss Rate by 35%.

Rune of Vitality – Upon receiving healing, allied Espers gain a Shield equal to 25% of healing received for 2 turns.

Rune of Sacrifice – The death of any unit heals allied Espers by 20% of their max HP.

Rune of Petrification – Converts all immobilization statuses inflicted by allied Espers into Petrification.

Rune of Punishment – At the start of battle, inflicts Hamstrung on all enemies for 5 turn(s) that nullifies their AP Up. Upgrade – Prevents them from taking actions outside their turns.

Rune of Tyranny – Single-target attacks by allied Espers deal Splash Damage equal to 25% of damage dealt to the main target. Upgrade – Splash Damage triggers a Crit that deals damage based on the attacker’s C. Rate and C. DMG when the main target is killed.

Rune of Pursuit – When an allied Esper casts a basic ability, they have a(n) 30% chance of summoning an ally to cast a basic ability.

Rune of Vitality – Upon receiving healing, allied Espers gain a Shield equal to 25% of healing received for 2 turns. Upgrade – Have a 50% chance to increase Healing Efficacy by 50%.

What to Pick

This will depend on your team composition. If you have a lot of damage espers with a healer or support, then offensive ones like Rune of Tyranny or Rune of Assault are good choices to further improve your damage, allowing you to kill your enemies quickly.

However, as you advance to the higher difficulties, the enemies there are really quick, so they will out speed you and go first. This is where defensive ones like Rune of Mitigation or Rune of Fortitude might come in handy.

If you have a control stun team, Rune of Petrification and Rune of Shock Strike is very valuable. However, these are all situational and it depends on the enemies you are fighting. Some teams have high crowd control skills and having immunity and cleanse on your team is key here.

At the moment, I recommend staying with difficulty 5 and 6 for early game players as 7-8 have much higher relic requirements. It is better to consistently complete the entire 3 maps than half clearing 7 or 8. You will lose out on a lot of purple and blue cubes.

You can also check what runes you currently have by clicking on the info button on the bottom right side of the screen. Also, you can remove specific runes if they are ruining your runs by clicking the remove button.

Drop Rates

Special thanks to ParallelHorizon, who was able to datamine the drop tables for Cube Miracle. Check it out below:

As you can see, difficulty 5 and 6 gives 50 and 60 cube points respectively. The spike in difficulty from 7 and 8 is not worth losing potential espers and hence being unable to complete the map, which is devastating for early game players. You always want to buy as many gold records, rare and epic abilimons as you can every 2 weeks.

The final chest in the first 2 maps and the final boss in the 3rd map gives you purple cubes, which allows you to get the relic essence, which allows you to make 6 star relics of your choice.

F2P Team Building

Generally speaking, you want a well balanced team:

  • 1-2 healer, 1-2 support, 1-2 DPS, 1-2 Controller

You pick and choose who gets on the team depending on who the enemy is. Sometimes, you need more healers because the  opponent team has more DPS. Sometimes, you need immunity against debuffers, so you bring 2 supports with immunity buff.

For getting a safe team to difficulty 6, here are some viable F2P espers:

Support/Healer

Top esper here to help you. Provides defense buff, immunity, attack down and defense break. She must be built fast with some accuracy to get her full effectiveness. Since she is a fusion esper, it is a no brainer to get her early. Having her put up immunity here will ensure that your team does not get crowd controlled, which happens often in higher difficulties as the enemy team is very fast.

A good shielder that can protect your team from damage with defense break on the basic skill. A good support that is often overlooked.

A budget early game healer to keep your team healthy. Has low skill cooldowns and I still use here even though I am in mid game and I can already auto farm Kronos/Apep/Fafnir 10.

A top support with attack and defense buff. She can heal and give invincibility as well. You do need to stalk the Ripple Dimension to get here though. Good luck!

Much like Ye Suhua, she is from the Ripple Dimension. She gets attack up and crit rate buff alongside AP boost. Very useful in allowing your team to go first if she is built speedy.

Also a good fusion esper that can provide immunity and give attack buff to your DPS. He works best in a team that focuses on only 1 DPS in the team.

She is usable here early game with her team attack buff. She can freeze and provide defense break as well.

DPS

A top single target DPS that can ignore defense on skill 3 if he kills the target, allowing you to wipe out nearby espers as well, even tanky ones. He also has defense break on skill 2. Very useful.

His skill 2 gives attack buff and standoff, allowing him to survive tough attacks. He can dispel enemy buff as well. Does a lot of damage at low health.

Another overlooked unit. He can transfer debuff to enemy with his passive. His 3rd skill is a guaranteed crit if enemy has a debuff. This allows you to build high crit damage on him and he can deal a lot of damage in a debuff heavy team.

Does percentage HP damage and it is very useful in higher difficulties as their HP starts to get to very high levels. He can do the job well since he also has sustain on his skill 2.

Like Li Ling, he has some percentage hp attack in skill 3 and he offers defense break and disease, although not as reliable due to RNG. Li Ling is much more consistent compared to Tang Xuan.

That concludes the beginners guide. Good luck farming in Cube Miracle!

Dislyte Fafnir 9/10 Auto Farm Guide [F2P Options Available] https://gachax.com/dislyte/fafnir-9-10-auto-farm-guide-f2p-options-available/ https://gachax.com/dislyte/fafnir-9-10-auto-farm-guide-f2p-options-available/#respond Thu, 02 Jun 2022 20:01:58 +0000 https://gachax.com/dislyte/?p=1382 Welcome to the Fafnir guide for new players! In this tutorial, we will go over the mechanics of Fafnir and how to craft your own team to get that Fafnir 10 auto completion achievement for Ritual Miracle course!

Why Should You Farm Fafnir?

Fafnir offers some really good Temporal Tower and PvP sets. Here are the following you can get from Fafnir:

4 Set

  • Tyranny of Zeus (20% chance to stun on attacking) – Great set for AoE attackers and a key piece in helping you out in Temporal Tower, Cube Miracle and PvP.
  • Snow Dowager (20% chance to get frozen when attacked) – This is good in PvP against cleaving teams. Since this is mostly PvP, it is not popular among PvE players.
  • Hammer of Thor (+40% Crit DMG) – Good set for end game DPS units to further improve their damage.

2 Set

  • The Enchanter (30% chance to extend poison and bleed debuffs) – Niche use and not very practical for most PvE content.
  • Immensus Peak (+25% RESIST) – Good for PvP as well, not so much for PvE.
  • The Light Above (Grants immunity at the start of battle for 1 turn) – Good for PvP but it is highly reliant on the meta.

The most popular sets here are Tyranny of Zeus for the stun procs, Hammer of Thor for more DPS damage and The Light Above for PvP first round. Snow Dowager is a bit niche as well as it caters to tanky espers like Donar or Ren Si in PvP where it disrupts enemy from cleaving your team. The Light Above immunity set is also situational and depends on whether or not people are using buff strippers in PvP.

Should You Focus on Fafnir as F2P?

To be frank, it is not advisable to focus on Fafnir as F2P. It brings very little value for most PvE content, and the resources required to comfortably auto Fafnir 10 is very high. Not only do you need high speed on all your DPS espers, they also need to be multi hitters and preferably Wind element. That really requires a lot of upgrading and levelling just to auto it.

Below is an example run of me finally getting the Fafnir 10 auto completion, took me many tries to do so as F2P. The team is:

Lu Yi is not super accessible to F2P because it depends on luck to pull him. So that leaves Zelmer and maybe Hall as replacements. Li Ling is usable here due to his multi hits, but for auto it won’t be reliable as he is at element disadvantage.

The above team can auto Fafnir 9 at a 90% success rate and also clear Fafnir 10 for mission objective, but not enough to auto consistently. I suspect some relic improvements and 6 starring Tang Yun and Lynn should enable me to start doing Fafnir 10 auto.

Fafnir Boss Mechanics

So Fafnir is based around being quick, fast and able to multi hit effectively. Unlike Kronos and Apep where if you just bring a very damage heavy team and kill them quickly, it can work. However, Fafnir is a different matter as he has 3 phases which will halt that with some RNG involved.

Special thanks to ParallelHorizon, who datamined the stats and key data for all kinds of bosses.

Not only does Fafnir has 70% innate resistance at difficulty 10, it also has an annoying crystal who is constantly cleansing debuffs and giving him immunity. Let’s look at his skills:

Fafnir

Dragonbreath – Attacks all enemies and inflicts SPD down for 2 turns when a(n) 50% chance of inflicting Stun for 1 turn if buffed. This attack deals extra damage when fewer enemies remain on the field.

Dragon’s Curse – Used when Fafnir has Andvari’s Treasure. Dispels all buffs from the target and deals massive damage. Grants Fafnir DMG Up after defeating an esper.

Unbound Deluge (Passive) – Fafnir gains multiple HP stacks and disables all enemies’ AP-related abilities upon entering the battlefield. Each time Fafnir is attacked, the damage it takes will not exceed 35% of its max HP. For each HP stack lost, Fafnir gains Andvari’s Treasure, retaliates against the last attacker inflicting Icefield Abyss, and triggers the effects of Dragonbreath. Fafnir further reduces target’s max HP by 25% if buffed when casting Icefield Abyss.

The Left and Right Crystals

Suppression Tablet – Damages all enemies and inflicts Diseased for 2 turns.

Draconic Curse (Passive) – Grants Fafnir an ATK Up buff after death.

Blessing Tablet – Dispels all debuffs from the Boss while granting Immunity for 2 turns.

Dragonic Curse (Passive) – Grants Fafnir a SPD Up buff after death.

Fafnir Sequence and Battle Phases

Since Fafnir disables AP manipulation, all AP controllers are not going to offer much unless they are able to do some multi hits. Your team also needs fast speed (ideally no less than 160 even on your DPS espers). The reason is because if Fafnir lands speed down debuff on them, they will not be able to be fast enough to at least get in 1 attack during the shield sequence. He can also land stuns if your team is buffed, making it even more RNG fest. By running a full Wind element team, you will reduce that by another 50%, hence making runs a bit more bearable.

Battle Shield Phase (3 Times)

Fafnir starts with 5 bars of HP. Each time you reduce his HP to 0%, it will trigger a phase where he freezes the attacker that damaged him last. It cannot be cleansed and in that phase, he will gain a HP shield where you need to get rid of.

  • Fafnir 8/9 – 10 hit count shield
  • Fafnir 10 – 12 hit count shield

This will happen 3 times and you need all your espers to survive at least 2 phases, with the last one being okay to lose an esper without having Fafnir increasing his damage too much with his passive. If you lose 2 espers by phase 2, the run is pretty much over.

As you can see, difficulty 10 makes it a lot harder as if you do not bring enough multi-hit espers to bring the shield down, he will use a strong single target and kill the esper. It hits hard and usually one shots any DPS unless it is a miss hit on Wind element or the esper is a tanky one like Gabrielle. Even then, tanking is hard as he inflicts max HP reduction as well.

Having a shielder such as Berenice is very helpful as the right crystal will keep applying Disease on your espers. If you do not have a cleanser like Chang E, Celine, Clara, Sally or Unas, this will make Hades set or healers very ineffective here. Also, killing either the left or right crystal isn’t great either, as it will grant him a permanent attack up and speed up respectively.

If you successfully break the shield, your frozen esper will return to life, but still loses his 35% of their max HP. If the same esper gets him down to 0% the second time, it is possible he loses another chunk of his/her max HP. Since there are 3 phases, it is possible all 3 phases will be the same attacker. The odds of this happening is reduced if you have 3 or more attackers.

It is important to have at least 3 multi hitters since most of the time, one of them will be frozen and you need at least 12 hits on Fafnir 10 to break the shield. Fafnir has 100 speed, but if he inflicts a stun or speed down on any of your espers, they may not be able to get an attack in if their speed is about 150 or less. You will want your DPS espers to have at least 150 speed. The other alternative is to bring a cleanser or immunity buff that can get rid of these nasty debuffs.

The following is very useful against Fafnir:

  • Wind Element Espers – Having them reduces Fafnir’s debuff accuracy by 50% due to missing.
  • Multi Hitters – Having at least 3-4 multi hitters will improve your odds of breaking the shield consistently during the shield battle phase. Highly mandatory for consistent runs.
  • Immunity – Can help with preventing stuns, slows and disease.
  • Cleansing – Same as immunity, clearing slow and stuns will allow them to move.
  • Dispel Buff – Can help dispel the immunity from Fafnir, but he often gets it back from the crystal.
  • Invincibility – Prevent 1 hit KO at times.
  • Shield – Helps with survivability.
  • Defense Buff – Helps with survivability.
  • Attack Buff – Works on a very offensive team.
  • Speed Up – Allows your entire team to cancel out the speed down debuff.
  • Speed Leader – A speed leader will allow your team get more turns overall, which is useful.
  • Attack Leader – Can help quickly getting him into shield phase, lowering the number of times he attacks.

F2P Units

Skill Hits: 1/3/1

Gabrielle is a fusion esper and she provides immunity and defense buff. She may not be the best for multi hitting, with only skill 2 hitting 3 times. Since she will be built fast, she will often get 2 turns during the shield phase, making her an okay choice. Her HP leader skill also helps for beginner teams.

Skill Hits: 2/3/1

Lynn is a free esper given to new players. She is okay here as well. She does decent damage, with skill 2 being able to dispel the Fafnir immunity. Skill 3 gives a nice shield which helps for survivability. Her skill 1 will provide immunity as long as she crits.

Skill Hits: 1/2/4

Probably the best one to build here. He is easy to max and farm. His best selling point is his extra proc chance to use his basic skill. Skill 3 hits 3 times and triggers Iron Polearm. Sometimes it can hit more than 4 times. His skill 1 has 30% chance to trigger Iron Polearm, potentially giving more hits. Skill 2 has 50% chance to trigger Iron Polearm. As you can see, he is all about triggering his basic skill. This gives you higher odds of breaking the Fafnir shield.

Skill Hits: 3/3/0

The best F2P support in terms of shielding. Her skill 3 offers a nice thick shield that keeps everyone safe. With high health and speed, she can prevent your team from dying. Her skill 2 hits 3 times with AP down and her skill 1 hits 3 times with defense break. However, the debuffs aren’t going to help here. We are more interested in her multi hitting abilities. She is also used in other areas of the game for team protection, so it is a worthwhile build.

Skill Hits: 2/3/1

She is a viable replacement ahead of Lu Yi if you don’t have him. Although a not so popular choice, she can get the job done. Her debuffs won’t help too much, but her skill hits will definitely help with breaking the shield.

Skil Hits: 3/1-3/1

Can be used here, although her skill 2 is a bit unreliable. Her skill 3 can strip Fafnir immunity buff. She doesn’t have element advantage here, so she will be stunned often when buffed.

Other Choices

Most of these units requires a lot of luck to pull. You may or may not get them unfortunately.

Skill Hits: 3/0/1-9

Probably the top choice for Fafnir. His third skill hits 9 times randomly, which means on average it will hit at least 3 times. His skill 1 always hits 3 times, so it always helps. he just needs enough speed and health to survive.

Skill Hits: 1/1/1

Has the all important speed and attack up buff, which really helps the entire team make sure they can get their attacks in. Her skill 3 gives her an extra turn, allowing here to skill cycle faster. Her skill 1 doesn’t do much here.

Skill Hits: 3/0/0

Sally can cleanse on skill 2 and provide attack buff. Her skill 3 provides healing, damage mitgation and cleanse. Best of all, her skill 1 hits 3 times and gives her immunity.

Skill Hits: 2/0/0

A strong healer that can cleanse debuffs and provide immunity. She can be the sole support of the team and you can run 4 multi hitters to complete your Fafnir 10 team.

Skill Hits: 1/5/3

Usable here for high damage and hit counts on skill 2 and 3. Due to elemental disadvantage, he will take more stuns and slow. However, if you have a good team to protect him, he will do fine here.

Skill Hits: 3/1/3

Also usable here with good hit counts on skill 1 and 3. His AP manipulation won’t do much here, but it is better than nothing. He also has element disadvantage, so it will require good relics.

Skill Hits: 1/1/3

You wonder why he is on the list. Due to him being a speed leader, a very fast Sander (220+ speed) will go twice during shield phase, effectively giving him 2 hits for his first two skills and more skill 3 triple hits. Do not use him if you cannot get higher than 220 speed.

Other Player Runs

Have a look at these for Fafnir 10 runs:

Hope this helps! We will be updating the guide as we go!

We will be going over the 4 elemental dungeons of Infernis, Windstriker, Flowrunner and Shimmerer.

Why Do Sonic Miracle?

Sonic Miracle is key in being able to ascend your espers to unlock a skill improvement, more stats and thus making them stronger. By defeating the 4 elemental bosses, you get the relevant elemental waves (basic, advanced and elite version) to upgrade your esper’s ascension circle.

As mentioned earlier, there are 4 elements:

  • Infernis – Inferno Element – Opens Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday
  • Windstriker – Wind Element – Opens Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday
  • Flowrunner – Flow Element – Opens Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday
  • Shimmerer – Shimmer Element – Opens Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday

Each boss has slightly different mechanics and it will be discussed here. Let’s go over the stats of doing Sonic Miracle. Thanks to Parallel Horizon who was able to datamine and find out the actual stats and rates of drops.

The difficulty determines the extra resistance that the boss will have. You will want about 40% accuracy to land your debuffs on the stage 8 boss.

Sonic Miracles Boss Extra Resistance
Stage 1 30
Stage 2 30
Stage 3 30
Stage 4 30
Stage 5 40
Stage 6 40
Stage 7 40
Stage 8 50

Drop Rates

The boss (all difficulties) has 0.5% chance to drop a Gold Record and a 3% chance to drop Nexus Crystals. When you defeat the boss, it will drop 2 boxes, each containing either the basic, advanced or elite waves.

  • Difficulty 1 to 2 – Only basic waves will drop
  • Difficulty 3-5 – Basic and advanced waves will drop
  • Difficulty 6-8 – Basic, advanced and elite waves can all drop here

Note: Each boss drops a varying amount of Box 1 and Box 2 depending on the difficulty level. The quantity from each box is 1. This means that at Difficulty 8, the maximum amount of materials you can obtain is 10 since there are a total of 10 boxes dropped.

Box 1

Sonic Miracle Basic Advanced Elite Number of Boxes

Difficulty 8 15.00% 12.50% 10.00% 62.50% 4

Sonic Miracle bosses can also trigger Ripple Dimensions. The difficulty does not change chances of getting one.

Ripple Name 88% 6% 6% Number of Users

Leon 100 20
Helena 1 20
Jeanne 100 20
Unky Chai 100 20
Ye Suhua 100 30
Dhalia 100 30

How that we got the drop rates out of the way, let’s go over the boss mechanics.

Boss Mechanics

For all 4 bosses, you will want to have some of the following buffs or debuffs to make your life easier:

  • Attack Up – Increases your team’s overall dps.
  • Defense Up – Take reduce damage from the mobs and the boss.
  • Attack Down – Boss deals less damage.
  • Defense Down – Increase damage dealt to the boss by 60%.
  • Sear – Increase damage dealt (only 25%). Stack this with defense down for even more damage.
  • SPD Up – Your team moves faster and have more turns.
  • SPD Down – Boss moves 30% slower and thus doing less damage.

F2P Espers (Easily Available)

The espers below are ones that you either can farm from Ripple Dimensions (Dhalia and Ye Suhua), pulling from gacha, free unit (Lynn), fusion units (Gabrielle and Fabrice) and the guaranteed Legendaries (Li Ling or Tang Xuan).

Top Single Target DPS Espers (4 Stars)

There are some 4 stars that I would mention here because they are very good in Sonic Miracle due to their skills that can hit very hard on a single target. If you are lucky, you might pull one of the them during your first 120 pulls.

A 5 star unit disguised as a 4 star unit. She brings so much to the table that it is silly. She is easy to build as she does not need crit rate due to her buff from Tiger’s Roar, which grants her 100% crit rate for 3 turns. With max skill ups, she will always crit. Her skill 3 also can apply speed down and defense break to all enemies. Her skill 2 applies up to 4 bleed stacks and her skill 1 can apply diseased.

She brings so much utility and damage that having her alone will reduce all your dungeon run times by a lot. Since she is a shimmer unit and cant miss, she will always apply her debuffs.

Sander is another solid single target DPS/Controller. He is a speed leader and his attacks scale with speed. He also brings utility with stun on skill 3, speed down on skill 2 and AP decrease on skill 1. He is a controller that can also dish out tonnes of damage. Since he can slow down the Sonic Miracle bosses, it is a no brainer to use him.

Another strong DPS that can steal enemy buffs and make herself stronger. Her skill 3 scales damage off how many buffs she got. It also steals 2 buffs from the enemy. She does a lot of damage in Sonic Miracles against the bosses, particularly Shimmerer.

Her skill 2 can apply buff block. Her skill 1 can also steal a buff. She can work as a single target DPS or AoE, depending on the number of enemies left. She does have a bit of randomness on both skill 2 and 3, so it may deter some players.

However, her kit is so strong, especially when you can stack many buffs on her before she attacks. She is also immortal against Shimmerer as she steals his thick shield.

Lu Yi deals damage based on enemy max HP. His skill 3 also hits random enemies, but since there is only 1 target in the boss stage, that means that all the arrows will hit the boss, doing big damage. He also has sear debuff, helping your entire team deal more damage. You will want to bring another defense breaker to further boost the damage dealt. He is also usable in Fafnir as well.

Now, let’s go over some simple strategy and teams for F2P players.

Infernis

Skills

  • Lashing Pride – Damages an enemy once.
  • Sonic Upgrade (Passive) – Lower HP grants greater damage.
  • Burning Roar – Damages all enemies once.

The boss does more damage as his health gets lower. The key here is to bring a lot more single target damage DPS espers to quickly burst him down. When you are starting out, you want to work your way up. A good starter early starter team would look like this:

This has attack down, defense down, attack up, heals and damage. This will work all the way up to difficulty 6 before you want to switch out some espers for a more damaging team. Once you farm up and upgrade some espers, a mid game F2P team would be:

Feel free to sub out any DPS for stronger ones that you might have pulled from the gacha.

Windstriker

Skills

  • Howling Pride – Damages an enemy once.
  • Poison Spread (Passive) – Deals greater damage to targets with Poison.
  • Burning Roar – Deals damage to all enemies and inflicts Poison for 2 turns.

The Windstriker can apply a lot of poison stacks. You will want to have at least 1 healer here. The starter team that is used for Infernis can also be used here. If you have Berenice built here, she can be the only healer/shielder here as long as you have enough damage.

Feel free to sub out any DPS for stronger ones that you might have pulled from the gacha.

Flowrunner

Skills

  • Maelstrom Pulse – Damages an enemy once.
  • Sonic Life (Passive) – When dealing damage, restores HP equal to certain proportion of damage dealt. The more action one takes, the more damage one suffers.
  • Devouring Wave – Damages all enemies once.

The Flowrunner boss can heal himself from the damage he deals. You will definitely want the debuff disease to prevent the healing from happening. Here are some F2P espers that have that debuff:

It is not a big deal if you don’t have it. It just means the run takes longer. You can still use DPS method and just try to burst him down as quickly as possible. A starter F2p team would look like this:

And of course if you have pulled stronger espers like Lin Xiao or Lu Yi, you will want them on the team.

Shimmerer

Skills

  • Striking Pulse – Damages an enemy once.
  • Noise Shell (Passive) – Shield grants a damage dealt boost and damage taken mitigation.
  • Awesome Shock – Damages all enemies once and grants a shield equal to a certain proportion of max HP.

The Shimmerer can shield himself, making him a lot tankier. You will want espers that can dispel or steal buffs to make this easier. Here are some F2P espers that will help here:

It is also not that big of a deal if you cannot strip the buff. You can also do a lot of damage to break the shield. The run just takes a bit longer. A starter F2P team would be:

Keep in mind that when you are doing these runs, if you are failing them, then it is most likely your relic or esper levels are not there yet. Upgrade some more and you will eventually do difficulty 8 without much problems.

Bonus Tip

Once you are able to do difficulty 6, you can start to use the item Elemental Wave Booster to get bonus drops for 1 hour. I suggest doing this when you can get your run times to about less than 2 minutes. This way, you can do at least 20 runs and get a lot of bonus elite waves for 1 hour, thus shortening the time it takes to ascend an esper.

Obviously, as your relics get better, your run times will decrease. The ideal difficulty to use it on is 8 and if you can get less than 1 minute run time, then you can do 50-60 runs, thus racking up a lot of elite waves to quickly ascend 2 espers.

Dislyte Re-roll Guide for Beginners [Top Espers to Pick] https://gachax.com/dislyte/dislyte-re-roll-guide-for-beginners/ https://gachax.com/dislyte/dislyte-re-roll-guide-for-beginners/#respond Tue, 31 May 2022 19:13:47 +0000 https://gachax.com/dislyte/?p=1330 Welcome to the Dislyte re-roll guide for new players! In this tutorial, we will go over the viable espers that can help you in your journey. By the way, the game is completely doable without having to roll any top tier espers. My own account F2P with no re-rolls and only free units upgraded has already completed Kronos 10 and Apep 10 auto runs reliably using the same team.

How to Re-roll?

Keep in mind that you can re-roll 3 times unless you are playing on a PC emulator.

Re-rolling is quite simple. Follow these steps:

Step 1 – Grind to Chapter 3.8 so you can do the first 10 summons (guaranteed Li Ling or Tang Xuan)

Step 2 – If you didn’t get what you wanted, click on your profile picture on the top left corner. Select settings and head to services tab.

Step 3 – Click on initialization and it will clear your account data so you can do this all over again.

Step 4 – Connect your data to an email address or one of the social accounts to continue.

Step 5 – The game will prompt you a code to confirm that you want to delete the account. After that, you go back to step 1.

Why Re-roll?

There are a few reasons to re-roll, including getting head start for easier early game play, or really wanting specific espers and just for fun.

You are guaranteed to get either Li Ling or Tang Xuan on your first 10 summons.

What most don’t know is that you can also pull other legendary espers and shimer espers alongside either one of them. So this is the best one to re-roll for. Ideally, you want to roll for another legendary esper to make it worthwhile. The rates is 1% Legendary, 9% for Epic and Rare is 90%.  And then there is 7% for a Shimmer esper and the rest split between the other 3 elements.

Before we go over the suggested espers to roll for, let’s talk about choosing between Li Ling or Tang Xuan.

Both espers are solid DPS units that can be used in various game modes. They are a bit similar, although their element plays a huge part in who should be picked. TLDR is to pick Li Ling as your main DPS for early game. I will list the reasons below.

The thing with this game is there are some key things that are important to have early on and that will be the deciding factor on whether to use them. The faster it can get you to mid game, the better the esper is for pulling. The following are key:

1 – Can they help farm fodder?

Both espers are decent at it due to their skill 2 being able to heal themselves. Granted that any DPS unit can be a farmer with a Hades set, these 2 espers have AoE attacks on their skill 3, making them more efficient. In this case, both espers are viable and both get 1 point each in my books.

2 – Usable in Kronos 1-10?

Tang Xuan is at element disadvantage here, so he is not that great here. Li Ling will do well here as neutral element. Since Kronos is where you would spent a majority of your time to farm up your first few sets of War Machine and Wind Walkers, it is key that the esper can do this. So Li Ling gets 1 point here.

3 – Usable in Apep 1-10?

Li Ling has elemental advantage while Tang Xuan is neutral. Apep is a boss that is harder than Kronos and it is also important to note that the espers should not have too many multi-hitting skills. Due to Li Ling’s 2nd and 3rd skill hitting 5 and 3 hits respectively, it triggers Apep’s counter, so making it a bit hard. Tang Xuan is a bit better with only his 3rd skill hitting twice. So I would give both 1 point as they are both viable here.

4 – Usable in Fafnir 1-10?

Fafnir is a lot harder than Apep and Kronos and there is a lot of RNG involved. While Li Ling is element disadvantage, his multi hits on 2nd and 3rd skill will help break the boss shield. Tang Xuan only has 2 hits on his 3rd skill, making him less of an option despite having element advantage. So 1 point for Li Ling here.

5 – How useful are they in Cube Miracles?

Both will be used here due to their sustain and as DPS espers, it is almost a requirement to be a bit more self sufficient.  They are viable here so 1 point for both.

6 – How useful are they in Spatial/Temporal Tower?

Now in the tower, the difficulty level scales the higher you go and having max HP damage scaling is useful in this mode. Both espers have max HP scaling damage, so they are good here as well. 1 point for each!

7 – Usable in Sonic Miracles farming?

Aside from dealing with their element disadvantage when fighting the opposing element boss, they deal good damage here as they also both have single target attacks. 1 point for each!

8 – How viable are they for PvP?

While they are not the the best in terms of end game PvP, they can do well early game to help you move to Tier 6+ so you can farm enough points to buy key items in the shop, particularly the legendary abilimon. 1 point for each as well!

Now that puts Li Ling with 8 points and Tang Xuan with 6 points. He loses out on Kronos and Fafnir boss runs. The logical choice here is to pick Li Ling, but if you like Tang Xuan’s design, it is also viable. At the end of the day, do what you like! This is just a recommendation.

Recommended Espers to Re-roll For

With Li Ling or Tang Xuan out of the way, let’s talk about the top espers to try and roll for.

5★ Supports

Probably the most broken unit in the game. His passive grants himself haste, which gives him 30 speed per stack, up to 90 speed. He also has the highest base speed in the game. He also grants immunity to all teammates when he gets to move. Once he gets to move, he can cast a AoE +30% AP for the whole team and deal AoE damage. When built fast, he literally can protect your team from getting debuffed and allow everyone to get more turns over time. He is only weak to stuns/freezes/petrification.

He also gets defense break on skill one. Being a neutral element, he doesn’t miss and defense break makes your whole team do more damage. He can be used on all game modes except for Fafnir. That gives you tremendous utility just for pulling him. He is hard to pull though, so good luck!

Sally is a very strong support who can provide team attack buff with cleanse and even hp heal on skill 2 and give a lot of damage mitigation on skill 3 via Sweet Harvest. Keep in mind that skill 3 also cleanses a debuff off allies and heal them as well. Her skill one can grant her immunity.

Her kit is designed to counter heavy debuffers and there are plenty in this game. Also for F2P players, there aren’t too many cleansers around, so she has tremendous value.

Much like Sally, Clara is designed to deal with debuffers. Her passive remove 2 debuffs from an ally and grant them immunity if they have no debuffs. The heal also turns into a shield if at full health. Her skill 3 grants a nice 35% hp heal and 20% AP boost. That is great for both PvE and PvP. Her skill 1 can heal herself or allies, depending on who has the lowest HP.

Due to her healing poweress, she is also usable across all game modes, including Fafnir at an element disadvantage. She can also solo Apep (although very slow) if you want to farm fodder there.

5★ DPS

Like Unas, she is very hard to get. However, being a shimmer unit, she has the most loaded kit for PvP. She is also usable in PvE, but PvP is where she shines. Her skill 3 cleanses all debuffs, and uses an AoE attack that dispel ALL enemy buffs and apply defense break on them. Her skill 2 is an AoE attack that applies buff block and decrease enemy max HP. This works wonders as the battle goes on. Her skill 1 can steal buff and inflict sear, allowing your team to do more damage. Her utility is just too good to pass up.

Her kit is so loaded that she posses such a threat that if she is on the opponent team, you want to take her out quickly or else you can say goodbye to your own buffs.

Donar is a solid tank that can help you solo XP stages and also excel in PvP. He can also solo Kronos 10 if needed, but does require good relics. His passive allows him to deal damage every turn to all enemies.  When built with high defense, crit rate and crit damage, he can tank well with a Hades/Sword Avatara set. He also grants defense up and immunity on skill 3 and hit a single enemy, making him even tankier. His skill 1 can apply attack down.

However, he does require good relics, so don’t expect top tier performance without it.

Hyde is also similar to Donar in terms of being able to solo stuff. When geared with a good Hades/Sword Avatara set, he can solo Apep 10 by himself and do XP stages without much problem. The good thing is that he cannot be buffed or debuffed, so he will always be taking turns no matter what happens. His passive grants him Breath of the Deep stacks, which improves his damage and survivability. His skill 1 reduces enemy max HP + steal 2 buffs, which is useful against tough enemies. His third skill steal 1 buff from all enemies and restore some of his health from the damage dealt.

When built with good relics, he will shine in both Apep, XP farming and also hard content. With enough stacks, he becomes really tanky and can dish out a lot of damage over time. Keep in mind he is also a very end game esper, so don’t expect top tier performance early on with mediocre relics.

4★ DPS

A 5 star unit disguised as a 4 star unit. She brings so much to the table that it is silly. She is easy to build as she does not need crit rate due to her buff from Tiger’s Roar, which grants her 100% crit rate for 3 turns. With max skill ups, she will always crit. Her skill 3 also can apply speed down and defense break to all enemies. Her skill 2 applies up to 4 bleed stacks and her skill 1 can apply diseased.

She brings so much utility and damage that having her alone will reduce all your dungeon run times by a lot. She can be your fodder farmer, Kronos and Apep 10 DPS and also do Sonic Miracles easily with fast run times. As a shimmer unit, she won’t miss, which is a big plus. You can’t go wrong trying to roll for her.

Sander is another solid single target DPS/Controller. He is a speed leader and his attacks scale with speed. He also brings utility with stun on skill 3, speed down on skill 2 and AP decrease on skill 1. He is a controller that can also dish out tonnes of damage. He is very strong in Kronos and Apep, which are two key bosses you will be farming for a very long time.

If you went with Tang Xuan as your DPS, he will be a good pick to balance out your team.

That is about it. Hopefully this was able to help you figure out which espers to pick!

Dislyte Stat Guide [SPD, AP, ACC and RESIST – How it Works] https://gachax.com/dislyte/dislyte-stat-guide-spd-ap-acc-and-resist-how-it-works/ https://gachax.com/dislyte/dislyte-stat-guide-spd-ap-acc-and-resist-how-it-works/#respond Mon, 30 May 2022 19:45:26 +0000 https://gachax.com/dislyte/?p=1268 Welcome to the beginners guide for stats! In this tutorial, we will go over how each stat works and what is important and things you should focus on.

Stat Basics

Let’s go over all the stats in the game to give you a good idea on how they work.

HP

This is the health of the espers. This stat is good for all espers as having more will mean they survive better. You can improve this stat via relics from either flat HP or HP% bonus. Some espers scale their skills or damage with health (Ao Li, Laura etc.). In harder content, it is important for your DPS units to have enough HP to survive 1 hit KO’s, especially in end game content.

ATK

This is how much your damage your esper deals. All espers will have a ATK multiplier on their skills, so it scales off this stat. Some espers scale with 2 stats for their damage, so it is not always only this stat that matters for offense for all espers.

DEF

This is the defense of your esper. This stat lowers the damage you take. Some espers can also scale off defense for their damage, with Donar and Ren Si being examples. Also, if a unit is defense broken and their damage relies on defense, it will also lower their damage as well. It works similar to how attack down lowers an esper’s attack. There are some espers such as Biondina who can ignore defense, making it irrelevant when she attacks.

SPD

The most sought after stat for most players. The reason is because having more speed will allow your esper to move ahead of the enemy. Some espers can be built slow and be effective, however, most supports and controllers generally need to be fast to cast their skills, so the faster they are, the faster they cycle their skills.

Some espers scale off this stat for some of their attacks. A good example is Gabrielle. Her skill 1 gets a bit of bonus damage by having a higher speed stat.

Crit Rate

Crit rate is the odds of your dealing the value of your esper’s crit damage value. The max cap of crit rate is %100. Anything more is just a waste. This is best on DPS units that rely on crit rate to do damage. This is usually the for the majority of the DPS espers you have. There are a few exceptions.

Crit DMG

This stat is the multiplier of an esper when he/she does a critical hit. The higher the number, the more damage it does. Generally, this is an end game stat to boost up as it scales better than attack and can improve your DPS units overall damage by quite a bit when reaching the upper limit of 300%. Some espers also rely on this for big damage such as Lin Xiao, Leon, and Tang Yuan.

Now that the basic stats are covered, lets go into the more advanced stats, which has a bit more depth into them.

ACC and RESIST Mechanics

So both ACC and RESIST are stats that counter each other.

ACC is accuracy, which is the odds in which your esper will land their debuff on the enemy. By default, every esper has innate 20% RESIST. No matter how much accuracy an esper can have, there is always a 20% chance for any debuff to get resisted. If an esper has 100% accuracy and the enemy has default RESIST, there is still a 20% chance to resist. Also, ACC and RESIST are hard capped at 100%, so anything more is just a waste of stat points. And the most optimal ACC to have is 80%, since there is always a 20% chance to resist a debuff.

Any buff that needs to be dispelled or debuffs that need to be applied are affected by ACC and RESIST. This includes the usual things like defense break, SPD down or trying to dispel or steal an enemy buff. Also, AP Increase/Decrease/Absorb/Steal is also affected as well.

There are some special buffs and debuffs that are not affected by ACC or RESIST. They will be noticeable as their debuffs have a special border. They are:

This also applies to special buffs, which cannot be dispelled:

So now, let’s talk about how debuffs are applied.

Trigger Chance Check

Gabrielle lands the first defense break on the left crystal when using skill 1, but not on Apep himself.

This is basically a check to see if the debuff lands or not. For example, Gabrielle’s skill 2 hits 3 times, with a 50% chance EACH to land a defense break. So there is 3 checks here. For every hit, it will roll the dice to see if the defense break lands. If it does land, then it will need to do another trigger check to see if it gets resisted after taking accuracy into account.

So for example, if Gabrielle has 40% accuracy and the enemy has a base resist of 20%, then each hit will check to see if it got resisted. Since Gabrielle has higher accuracy, there is always a 80% chance to land the debuff as there is always a 20% chance to resist.

However, if Gabrielle has 0% accuracy and enemy has 70% resist, then the actual chance of her landing a debuff is very low.

Formula = % chance multiply by RESIST minus ACC

0.5*0.3 = 0.15

That means each hit will only have a 15% chance of landing the defense debuff.

Also, immunity and element disadvantage will also play a role here. Any esper with immunity buff on will not get debuffed, regardless of accuracy and trigger chance.

If Gabrielle were to hit an Inferno unit, she will have 50% chance to miss due to her element disadvantage. So her skill 2 will now have a much lower chance to hit. Instead of a 50% chance to land the defense break, it is now only 25% chance each due to the “miss” on element disadvantage.

That is why you tend not to bring element disadvantage espers into battles because of the miss. However, if your relics are really good, this can still work. Also, the miss rate up debuff also works the same as having element disadvantage.

In conclusion, ACC is the least efficient stat to raise, since it always has a -20% penalty regardless of your accuracy. However, it is still useful in helping you land debuffs. The more you land, the better it is for you. Big end game bosses like Kronos and Apep has 50% and 70% innate resist, so you will still want at least 40-60% accuracy to land your debuffs more consistently.

If you are in need of accuracy or resistance, here are a few ways you can get it:

1 – By using a captain that has the ACC or RESIST lead:

Accuracy Leaders

Resistance Leaders

2 – Use the Apollo’s Bow (ACC +25%) set or Immensus Peak (RESIST +25%) set for Mui I and II

3 – Using Mui IV relic slot with ACC or RESIST

4 – Use relics with ACC or RESIST substats

Speed (SPD) and AP Relationship – How They Work

While having a lot of speed is good, there is another hidden stat called Action Point (AP). This determines the turn order of when each esper gets their turn. Being able to increase your own team’s AP or decrease the enemy team’s AP is very useful in giving you a huge advantage in battle. The percentage AP can range from 0-100%.

To see where your esper is in terms of turn order, you will be able to see it on the action bar below your espers in battle. Whoever reaches the “finish line” goes first. You can also switch between 2 modes in game to see which one suits you better.

There are different skills that can manipulate AP and they come in different forms.

  • Increase AP – This increases AP by a fixed percentage
  • Decrease AP – This decreases AP by a fixed percentage
  • Absorb/Steal AP – This basically takes a percentage of the enemy’s AP and give that to the caster

For example, Lucas has 230 speed and the enemy has 170 speed. Lucas will always go first and his skill one can absorb up to 45% of the enemy’s AP. So the enemy gets pushed back by 45% and Lucas’s next turn gets a head start at 45%. Since his speed is a lot faster, he will get another turn before the enemy gets to move. He can keep on using skill 1 to lap the enemy as long as it does not resist the AP absorb.

This is what allows some espers to permanently stun lock an enemy because they are so fast. For example, have a look at this battle below where a 100ish speed getting stun locked by a most likely 260+ speed Dhalia. Skip to about 1:33 minute to see her lock Donar by AP pushing herself up alongside speed down and freeze.

Eventually, you will want to “Speed tune and AP tune” your team. For example, you want your AP pusher or attack buffer to go first so they can push your entire team up to take their turns. Generally, you want supports and AP pushers to be faster than your DPS. This works for both PvE and PvP.

In arena PvP, speed and AP tuning is key. Have a look at the opponent team in the Youtube video below by Deathpunk:

You can see that the opponent speed tune the team to move in order.

Notice how the fastest unit is the AP pusher Unas, who then pushes Dhalia to cast her ATK and CRIT buff, followed by 3 attackers, Tiye, Lin Xiao and finally Narmer. Ignore the player Ren Si attack, who was on counter set.  The opponent team moved in order to try and foil the player’s team with strong AoE attacks.

Video Explanation

Here is a very good video of the relationship between SPD and AP from Zoxaskun if you don’t want to read.

Dislyte F2P Fodder Farming Guide [Top Espers for XP Farming] https://gachax.com/dislyte/dislyte-f2p-fodder-farming-guide-top-espers-for-xp-farming/ https://gachax.com/dislyte/dislyte-f2p-fodder-farming-guide-top-espers-for-xp-farming/#respond Fri, 27 May 2022 13:12:59 +0000 https://gachax.com/dislyte/?p=761 Welcome to the esper farming guide for new players! In this simple tutorial, we will go over fodder farming and why it is important to have a dedicated farmer to help you level your espers.

Farming Basics

So after completing a chapter’s story mode mission 5, the XP farming stage will unlock. The XP farming stage will cost 10 stamina and has 3 waves of enemies you will have to defeat. They offer much better gold income, 3 star starimons and also experimons. These stages are very popular for leveling your espers. Ideally, you always want to do the highest difficulty you can to get the most experience per battle.

Normally, it will be something like this:

  • 1 farmer + 4 fodders
  • 1 farmer, 1 healer/support + 3 fodders
  • 1 farmer and 1 fodder (gives that fodder the most experience per battle)

The higher the difficulty, the harder it is to just use 1 farmer. However, this only applies when you have reached Purgatory mode, where the monsters are tanky and harder to defeat. Without running Hades set for sustain on your DPS, it can be hard unless they already have built in sustain in their kits. Also, you will want to 6 star your farmer first to help you easily get your other espers to 6 stars much quicker.

As you approach late game, you will start to realize you can also fodder farming in Ritual Miracle. There are specific espers that can do well against Kronos and Apep 10 with really good relics, allowing you to bring 1-4 fodders depending on how fast you want the runs to be. We will cover that in esper section, but for now, we will focus on XP stages.

Relics Required

In the early game when you are starting out, you are given 2 sets from chapter 6 and 9:

  • 4★ War Machine (Crit R%, Atk%)
  • 5★ Hades (Crit R%, Atk%)

And from the Tournament Shop:

  • 6★ The Light Above (Atk%)

When you combine either War Machine or Hades with the Light Above, it will be a decent starter damage set for your starter farmer. You will most likely be using this set until you can farm enough to get the upgraded War Machine pieces from the Cube Shop:

  • War Machine 6★ (Crit R%, Atk%)

This is a direct improvement to your overall DPS. This will most likely be the set your farmer will be using until you can farm some really good pieces from Kronos or Apep. You could also consider switching to a SPD Mui II piece to make your farmer faster at the cost of some attack, but it is optional.

Farmer Options

With so many espers, we will be going over some good ones. Mona will be the common choice for most players as she is free.

Mona

  • Early Given Set: War Machine or Hades/The Light Above (Crit R%/ATK%/ATK%) – available from grinding story mode and tournament shop
  • Mid Game Set: War Machine/Fiery Incandescence (Crit R%/ATK%.ATK%)
  • End Game Set: Hades/Sword Avatara (Crit R%/ATK%/SPD)

With Mona being free, it is a no brainer for most would choose her as the primary farmer, at least for F2P players. Her entire kit is designed well for this. Skill 2 and 3 are AoE attacks, with skill 2 giving her some lifesteal. Skill 1 will grant her an extra turn if she kills an enemy, thus reducing all her skill cooldowns. Often times, she will chain her skill 1 attack and quickly finish the battle after killing 3-4 enemies in a row.

This works especially well in normal, hard and up to lower stages of purgatory mode. After that, a Hades/Avatara set will be required to keep having her farm effectively as the monsters get stronger and are harder to kill. Also, some of the monsters can stun her as well, making the success rate go from 100% to 75%. She also isn’t used too much in other areas of the game, making her good for farming mostly.

Li Ling

Now Li Ling is another common unit that can be used as a early-mid game farmer instead of Mona. He is one of the 2 guaranteed espers (the other being Tang Xuan) you can pull in your first 10 summons. He has built sustain on his skill 2. His skill 3 is an AoE attack that scales off enemy max HP. Due to this, he can also do the job, although a bit slower than Mona. My Li Ling’s XP stage farming on average is about 1 minute slower than Mona. If you don’t care that much about how fast you finish the stages, then he can save you 1 6 star promotion to another DPS or support that can help in Kronos/Apep/Fafnir runs.

Lin Xiao

Lin Xiao is another very good option as a farmer if you managed to pull her. She is neutral element, so she does not miss on her attacks. Her skill 3 is an AoE attack that hits hard and can apply speed down and defense break. On top of that, she gets a buff called Tiger’s Roar, giving her 100% crit rate for the next 3 turns. When max skilled, she can cycle this forever. Her skill 2 can apply bleed stacks (up to 4) and her skill 1 can inflict disease and push enemy AP back. Talk about a loaded kit.

Since her cooldowns are low and she doesn’t need crit rate stat as much as other DPS, she is much easier to build. Her ideal set is Hades/Sword Avatara. However, if she hits too hard on the first round and kills all enemies with her skill 3, she will lose her buff going into the next round, making her do less damage. So, if you use her as a farmer, having some crit rate is also fine. Overall, she is a 5 star esper in disguise. She is also used in 90% of other content, making her a very efficient esper to get to 6 stars first if you are a new player.

Tang Xuan

He is an okay option as well compared to Li Ling. Due to his element type, he has a slight disadvantage, as he won’t be part of your initial Kronos 10 team. His skill 3 hits decently hard and gives him 3 unique buffs that can apply disease and defense break for 2 turns + bonus damage based on target’s max HP. His skill 2 can grant him a shield and can heal himself as well. His skill 1 will grant him a random buff available from his skill 3. Due to the randomness, he may deter some new players from using him. Otherwise, he is decent at farming and has low skill cooldowns.

End Game Farming in Ritual Miracle

Once you have gotten enough relics through farming Kronos or Apep 10, you can put together strong enough teams that can clear either Kronos or Apep 10 quickly. This gives you a few extra slots to train fodder, which is very efficient energy and time wise. This is actually the preferred way to farm fodder once you have completed purgatory mode 12-8.

Currently, I am still on purgatory chapter 4 and farming chapter 3 XP stage. However, I have already started to train 1 fodder in Kronos 10. The run time is quite slow at 4 minutes, but as I start to improve the relics of my team, the run time will decrease as well. Also, if you need an F2P guide for both Kronos and Apep 10 auto using the same team, I have them here:

Below are some good espers that can train up to 4 fodders in boss dungeons, which makes them a very good choice in the end game to help you farm up some nice relics as well as 6 starring your new espers in the process.

Donar

Donar is a bit hard to get and requires a bit of luck. However, he is a very strong esper for both PvE and PvP. As a defense based character with a passive that can deal damage each turn, he is perfect for longer battles. He can solo Kronos 10 and train 4 fodders and can also farm 12-8 purgatory mode safely compared to Mona.

He does require top relics though. If you watch DaddyFTP’s video, he has 15% Crit Rate on all his relic substats. That means you need to upgrade enough relics to have them roll into crit rate at least twice.

Ren Si

Ren Si may not look good on paper compared to other traditional DPS, but he is actually very reliable and can Apep 10 by himself once your relic requirements become really good. Hades/Sword Avatara set is preferred to keep the runs smooth and safe. I have linked videos below to show you the runs:

He is perfect for Apep due to his type and with high defense and some health, he is able to lifesteal enough health back to sustain himself from dying. His passive also helps here as well.

Hyde

This guy is just too good for Apep. He cannot be debuffed or buffed due to his passive. Apep stacks up his passive quickly and with a Hades/Sword Avatara set, he can solo it without a problem once you get some really good relics. He just gets stronger with time and eventually Apep cannot kill him at all.

You will not be able to do this early on, but do keep this in mind if you ever pull Hyde. The run time is around 3:30 minutes, which is what my current 5 man auto team’s run time is. Pretty impressive. I happened to pull him on my first 120 pity summon. So I am stoked to see when I can get him to this level.

Dislyte F2P Apep 10 Auto Guide for Beginners [How to Auto Farm with Given Espers] https://gachax.com/dislyte/f2p-apep-10-guide-how-to-auto-farm-with-0-spent/ https://gachax.com/dislyte/f2p-apep-10-guide-how-to-auto-farm-with-0-spent/#respond Thu, 26 May 2022 09:20:33 +0000 https://gachax.com/dislyte/?p=726 Welcome to the Apep guide for new players! In this tutorial, we will go over the roadmap to building your initial F2P team that can safely auto battle Apep 10 with all units attainable just from playing the game. For those that can already do Kronos 10 runs on auto-battle, I wanted to share with you the very same team I use for both bosses, so you are basically killing 2 birds with 1 stone!

Why Focus on Apep Dungeon?

Apep gives some really good set bonuses that you will want to use on your DPS, healer and PvP espers. Here are the following sets available to farm:

4 Sets

  • Hades (Lifesteal +35%) – Excellent set to sustain your own DPS espers. Sometimes, you can run missions without healers.
  • Ocean Waves (Every turn has 35% chance to reduce skill cooldown by 1) – Great set if you want to cycle your esper’s skills quickly.
  • Abiding Panacea (Healing Efficacy +30%) – Improves healing skills by 30%. Best used on espers with at least 2 healing skills.

2 Sets

  • Fiery Incandescence (C. Rate +20%) – Great set for DPS to help max out their crit rate.
  • Adamantine (Max Hp Shield +20% for all allies for 2 turns) – Gives a shield at the start of battle to all team members. A great support set for both PvE and PvP. Best used on high health espers.
  • Sword Avatara (Counterattack +25% when Hit) – Great for both PvE and PvP for some espers. Any esper with a good skill 1 is in contention for using this 2 set.

Hades is one of the more popular sets to farm. It allows your DPS to self sustain while dealing good damage. Great in many modes such as Infinite Miracle, Spatial/Temporal Tower, Cube Miracle and PvP as well. Ocean Waves is also a good set for skill spamming. It is more suited for end game as early on, you want more consistency in your runs, especially for the bosses such as Kronos and Apep.  Fiery Incandescence is also good for early game until you can easily compensate the +20% C. Rate on substats.

Apep Basic Mechanics

Apep is the poison snake that will detonate you espers if you let him stack many poison debuffs on you. Unlike Kronos, you cannot just roll up and DPS him down (at least for new players). Let’s take a look at his skills.

Miasma – Attacks all enemies, and inflicts 2 Poison debuffs for 2 turns.

Chaos Surging (Passive) – Receiving damage inflicts a Poison debuff on the attacker, lasting 3 turns. Triggers Toxic Detonation on targets immediately when receiving a certain number of attacks.

Toxic Detonation – Attacks all enemies and detonates all Poison debuffs, dealing significant damage based on the number of debuffs affecting the target.

Left Crystal – Attacks all enemies. Has a chance to Stun targets affected by Poison.

Right Crystal – Launches an attack on a single enemy and dispels all buffs. Every buff dispelled is converted into poison debuff which lasts for 3 turns.

The right crystal is what will normally mess up your runs. It can dispel and turn your character’s buffs into poison, causing one of your team members to die if too many poison debuffs stack up.

Also, thanks to Parallel Horizon, it has been confirmed that Apep 10 has a 70% resistance. So having about 50% accuracy will be enough to reliably land your debuffs (there will always be 20% resist chance irregardless of accuracy).

The Sequence

So on the first 2 waves before the boss fight, the minions can inflict poison on your team as well. If any of your team members are dying in the first two waves, you are not ready for Apep of that difficulty yet.

When you get to Apep, he will always move last. Since his speed is sitting at 75 (difficulty 10), all your characters will go first. The left and right crystals are also quite slow, I believe they are around 90 speed.

Keep in mind that Apep is a slow boss that relies on his counter attacks to decimate your team. If you have a fast multi-hitting team, it can backfire on you. His passive has a tick counter (7 hits at difficulty 10). That means if he gets hit 7 times, he will counter attack with his basic attack. Sometimes, he will counter attack and then his turn arrives after that. You will be taking 2 rounds of his attacks. If you don’t have immunity up, one of your DPS is most likely going to bite the dust if they don’t have at least 15k HP to tank the hit.

While that is going on, the right crystal is going to try and ruin your run by picking a random target to dispel buffs and turn them into poison. So running too many buffers is not a good idea. The left crystal can potentially stun any targets that have poison on them.

The following is very useful against Apep:

  • Immunity – This is a must have here. Otherwise, your espers are going to get detonated by Apep easily.
  • Cleanse – Cleansing poison debuff is also good here. However, you will want it together with Immunity as well since Apep counters often.
  • 1 Hit Attackers – You will want to field espers that hit at most 1 or 2 times per skill. Otherwise, you will eat more counter attacks than you would like. Drew would do well here since he only hits 1 time on his skills.
  • Attack Down – This reduces the AoE damage that Apep does. It doesn’t reduce poison damage unfortunately.
  • Defense Break – Increases damage dealt on him, making the run faster.
  • Invincibility – Can save your DPS sometimes by taking 0 damage at low health.
  • Healing – A healer such as Chang Pu or Ye Suhua should be on the team to provide sustain for the team, especially for new players.
  • Attack Buff – This is not necessary, but can help speed up the run.
  • Lifesteal – Hades set is very useful here. One of your DPS should be having this if you lack healers.

Having all these on your team will greatly improve the stability of your runs and will help you get to auto-battle status quicker.

The F2P Team

These are the units I am using and the stats are given below. It is the same exact team I use for Kronos 10 auto-battle 100%.

Chang Pu (Max Skilled)

Set: Wind Walker/Adamantine (DEF%/HP%/SPD)

Hit Count: 1/0/0

The best budget healer is back to the rescue. If you have her on your Kronos 10 team, she will do equally well in Apep 10. She provides team heal and immunity to avoid getting clapped by poison detonations. Her skill 2 has single target heal and comes in clutch at times. She can be gotten from your regular pulls from the gacha and also the Ripple Dimension. Maxing her skill out is easy too.

Drew (Max Skilled)

Set: Hades/Fiery Incandescence (C. Rate%/ATK%/SPD)

Hit Count: 1/1/1

I love this Doggo Butler DPS unit. His skills hit once, so it will trigger less counter attacks from Apep. He brings utility with his skill 2 has defense break (85% chance max skill). His skill 3 can hit 2 more targets and ignores defense as well if it kills. His skill 1 reduces skill 3 cooldown if it crits. As a 3 star, max skill is very easy. I have him on hades set so he can self sustain without getting decimated. I have no accuracy on him, so he won’t land his defense breaks much. Since he can be used in PvP as well, it is a no brainer to build this guy.

Fabrice (Fusion max skilled)

Set: Wind Walker/Immensus Peak (HP%/RESIST%/SPD)

Hit Count: 1/0/0

Mr Fabrice provides team immunity on skill 3 + invincibility. It can come in clutch at times. AI on auto sometimes will use it on the wrong person though. His skill 2 provides attack buff, which will help speed up the run. His skill 1 gives recovery, not the most useful but it is better than nothing. He can be replaced by Ye Su Hua as the second healer on the team if you have her.

Gabrielle (Fusion max skilled)

Set: Wind Walker/Stoneveins (HP%/HP%/SPD)

Hit Count: 1/3/1

Gabrielle is probably the most versatile unit. Gives team defense buff and immunity to the team and apply attack down on skill 3. Her skill 2 applies defense break but it hits 3 times, not the most ideal but it is a good trade off for the defense break debuff. Her skill 1 just hits once. Since she is built fast, her buffs will run out fast and often is the lowest health member. Fabrice on auto also often boosts her up. It does make her cycle her skills much quicker. However, her leader skill (+30% HP to allies) here is vital in keeping the entire team alive.

Li Ling (No skill ups)

Set: War Machine/The Light Above (C. Rate%/ATK%%/ATK%)

Hit Count: 1/5/3

While he may have element advantage, he has too many hits on both skill 2 and 3. However, due to his sustain on skill 2, which usually heals at least 50% or more of his health, he can withstand most attacks as long as he has immunity buff. I am using the Tournament shop Mui II piece for the ATK% bonus and it rolled well. It is better to use other 2 sets like Fiery Incandescence or Master Grove. Having him too fast is bad since he will cycle his skills fast and end up using too many skill 2 and 3 and can cause your team to wipe out. I have chosen not to max skill him (not that I have enough legendary abilimons).

Other F2P Alternatives

Ye Suhua

Another top healer/support that does well for Apep and Kronos. She can only be gotten from the ripple dimension, so it may take a while to get her, unless you are willing to camp in different channels and get in quick. At the time of writing, I have played for 16 days and have only seen 5 of these and they are full all the time. She gives both attack and defense buff on skill 3. Her skill 2 heals and provides invincibility buff to an ally. Her skill 1 provides attack down, making Apep deal less damage.

Unky Chai

A good support replacement for Fabrice. He provides attack buff and cooldown reduction to the team due to his passive. He also hits 1 time, so less counter attacks and also has elemental advantage. However, if you already skilled up Drew, Ye Suhua or Chang Pu, Unky Chai will lack skill ups to get the cooldown reduction on his skill 2. This is something to take note of.

Q

Q is actually decent here. He can provide attack and defense down on skill 2 and 1 respectively. His 3rd skill soul link can also help deal with the crystals that constantly debuff your team. The biggest downfall is his low base health. He will most likely die easily if you kept him at 5 stars. His skills all hit once, so that helps a lot.

Freddy

A strong single target damage dealer. He is self sufficient due to his skill 2, which gives attack buff and standoff, allowing him to survive 1 hit KO’s while having standoff. Using a hades set will allow him to sustain and heal himself while doing damage. He also does 1 hit on his skills like drew, so he will not trigger more counter attacks. He also deals more damage on his skill 3 the lower his HP is.

Heng Yue

Excellent cleanser/healer and does only 1 hit on her skill 1. She is the cleanser version of Chang Pu and will do very well here if you can pull her. She can replace Fabrice’s or Chang Pu’s spot. Her passive cleanses a debuff + grants recovery to the lowest health ally, hence nullifying the poison stacks.

Djoser

A tanky unit that can be built slow to stack up his passive and deal some decent damage to Apep. He also can provide defense break on his skill 1, making him useful in helping the entire team do more damage. Since his passive gives resist and defense, he can survive more hits than your standard DPS, making him a safe choice to take on Apep.

Jacob

This guy makes Apep a joke due to his second skill, making everyone immune to poison for 2 turns with the fangs buff. Apep won’t be able to detonate his poison and with him, you can run a more offensive composition and try and kill Apep quickly. However, he is not easy to get for F2P and you will have to be lucky to pull him. Since his skills are poison based, he can chip away at Apep’s high health very quickly.

Ren Si

A super tank that can also solo Apep when he gets the required relics. He provides defense break on skill 1 and he can withstand 1 hit KO before recovering some health. Having a Hades/Sword Avatara combo will ensure Apep consistently gets defense broken, making it easy for your team to do more damage. Since he is tanky as well, he won’t die so easily to Apep’s poison. His skills are also 1 hit, so way less counter attacks on him.

Sanders

A viable DPS that hits hard and scales off speed. He has a hit count of 1/1/3 on his skills, so it isn’t too bad in terms of triggering the Apep passive. However, he hits hard and if you have a defense break esper already on the team (Gabrielle, Drew etc.), he will make the run really fast.

Lin Xiao

The best DPS all around the game so far. Provides so much utility and can do a lot of damage. Her skill 3 grants her a buff that gives her 100% crit rate. At the same time, she can apply defense break and speed down. Her skill 1 can inflict disease and skill 2 can apply up to 4 bleed stacks. Having her in the team will significantly reduce your run times. She also hits once on all her skills, so less counter attacks from Apep.

On a side note, Volkin has a 80% success rate Apep 10 run here with 4 level 50 espers.

That is pretty much it for the F2P alternatives. I won’t include the broken Hyde and other 5 star rarity espers as most people won’t get them easily.

It is one of the key components of the game in making your espers much stronger. Relics comes in different shapes and you will want to look for certain pieces to fine tune your esper’s effectiveness with it.

Relic Basics

Relics in Dislyte are the equipment you can put on your espers. There are 6 slots available. Also, there are 4 sets and 2 sets available to equip.

4 Sets: Slots Una I, II, III, IV

  • War Machine (Atk +30%)
  • Astral Witchcraft (Increases SPD of allied espers by 50 when disabled)
  • Wind Walker (SPD +25%)
  • Hades (Lifesteal +35%)
  • Abiding Panacea (Healing +30%)
  • Ocean Wave (Grants 30% chance to reduce ability cooldown by 1 at the start of each turn)
  • Tyranny of Zeus (Stun chance +20%)
  • Snow Dowager (20% chance to freeze enemy when hit by an attack)
  • Hammer of Thor (C. DMG +40%)

2 Sets: Slots Mui I, II

  • Master Grove (Hp +25%)
  • Stoneveins (Def +25%)
  • Apollo’s Bow (ACC +20%)
  • Sword Avara (Counterattack +25% when hit)
  • Adamantine (Shield +15% of Max HP to whole team for 2 turns at the start of battle)
  • Fiery Incandescence (C. Rate +20%)
  • The Enchanter (30% chance to extend Poison/Bleed debuffs by 1 turn)
  • Immensus Peak (Resist +20%)
  • The Light Above (Gains immunity for 1 turn at the start of battle)

These sets can be farmed from Ritual Miracle bosses. Each boss drops 3 types of 4 sets and 2 sets.

  • Kronos (War Machine, Astral Witchcraft, Wind Walker, Master Grove, Stoneveins, Apollo’s Bow)
  • Apep (Hades, Abiding Panacea, Ocean Waves, Sword Avara, Adamantine, Fiery Incandescence)
  • Fafnir (Tyranny of Zeus, Snow Dowager, Hammer of Thor, The Enchanter, Immensus Peak, The Light Above)

Each relic has a main stat and can have up to four sub stats.

Una I: Main stat is ATK.

Una II: The main stat can be C. Rate, C. DMG, ATK, ATK%, DEF, DEF%, HP, HP%.

Una III: Main stat is DEF.

Una IV: Main stat can be ACC%, RESIST%, ATK, ATK%, DEF, DEF%, HP, HP%.

Mui I: The main stat is HP.

Mui II: Its main stat can be SPD, ATK, ATK%, DEF, DEF%, HP or HP%.

As you can see, Una I, Una III and Mui I give flat stats. Una II, Una IV and Mui II can give variable stats. However, there are a few differences.

  • Una II is the only slot that can have C. Rate, C. DMG as the main stat.
  • Una IV is the only slot that can have ACC%, RESIST% as the main stat.
  • Mui II is the only slot that can have SPD as the main stat.

As for the sub stats (also called secondary attributes in game), it can spawn up to 4. Here are the grades:

  • Shoddy – 0 sub stats
  • Good – 1 sub stats
  • Elite – 2 sub stats
  • Superior – 3 sub stats
  • Flawless – 4 sub stats

Any stat can appear on the sub stat of any relic. For example, if you have a Mui II speed main stat relic, it can also spawn speed substat on it as well. So you can basically stack stats heavily by finding the right relic. For example, if you are looking building a unit like Donar that needs DEF%, then a relic with defense% and def% sub stat will benefit him greatly.

The sub stats can be improved or gained through upgrading. We will go over upgrading in a later section.

Main Stats and Sub Stats to Look For

When it comes to the main stats, you will want to pay attention to Una II, IV and Mui II. These are the versatile slots that will improve your esper’s effectiveness based on his/her role. As a general rule percentage stats tend to be better, especially when your esper gets to 5 or 6 stars. Percentage stats scale better to the end game.

For Una II, C. Rate and C DMG are very popular choices for DPS units. For either support or defensive units, HP% or DEF% will help more as their skills usually scale with HP or DEF.

Una IV offers ACC and RESIST. However, these 2 stats are more for PvP. In PvE, they aren’t a make or break if you don’t have a lot of it. Stats such as HP%, ATK% or DEF% are more common to use. ATK% is usually the best in slot for many DPS units.

Mui II offers SPD as the only slot you can find it on. Therefore, it is the most useful stat here since you can only get SPD as sub stats elsewhere. Having more speed is always good on all espers 90% of the time. More speed means more turns and overall more skill cycling and therefore more damage or healing etc.

As for sub stats, you want to look for % stats. Here is a guideline on what to look for based on roles:

  • DPS – C. Rate, C. DMG, ATK%, SPD, Flat ATK, Flat HP
  • Support – HP%, DEF%, SPD, ACC, RESIST, Flat HP
  • Crowd Controllers – ACC%, HP%, SPD
  • Tank – DEF%, HP%, RESIST, SPD

You do not have to follow it to a tee because not all espers need speed. For example Sally, she can be built very slow to take advantage off her damage reduction on skill 3. So giving her SPD substats is not always necessary.

Gearing Your Espers

A very generic build based on roles would look something like this early on:

  • DPS – War Machine or Hades/Fiery Incandescence (C. Rate or C. DMG/ATK%/SPD or ATK%)
  • Support – Wind Walker/Adamantine (HP%/HP%/SPD)
  • Crowd Control – Tyranny of Zeus/Apollo’s Bow (Hp%/ACC%/SPD)
  • Skill Cycling Support – Ocean Wave/Adamantine (HP%/HP%/SPD)
  • Counter Sustain – Hades/Sword Avatar (C. Rate/ATK%/SPD or ATK%)
  • Tank Disruptor – Snow Dowager/Master Grove (HP%/DEF%/SPD)

Some espers will need more speed while others can be slow. It really depends on what content you need them for. Combinations of the sets also differs based on the utility provided. For the DPS though in the late game, a C. DMG Una II will replace C. Rate once you can get a lot of C. Rate on sub stats for more damage.

Upgrading Your Relic

When upgrading your relic, it will cost you gold and your main stats will increase each level. Each relic can be upgraded to max level 15. Also, generally, at the early game (before you can comfortably farm Kronos 8), it is fine to upgrade a few 4 star relics to get through to Kronos 7 or 8. Once you can farm Kronos 8 on auto, any relic below 5 stars is an automatic sell.

Here are the success rate of upgrading a relic:

Levels Success Rate
1-3 100%
3-4 90%
4-5 80%
5-6 70%
6-7 60%
7-8 50%
8-9 45%
9-10 40%
10-11 35%
11-12 30%
12-13 25%
13-14 20%
14-15 10%

As a general rule of thumb, it is more gold efficient to get most good relics to +12 and leave it there until you can afford to save up lots of gold in the end game. The reason is because the gold required to get a 6 star relic from +12 to +15 is anywhere from 300k to about 1 million gold. With the same amount of gold you can get 2-3 other relics to +12. The stat improvement isn’t worth the gold cost initially when you are beginning the game, where gold is scarce.

Also, they have a pity when upgrading, so you won’t get extreme bad luck past 15 tries.

This changes once you can comfortably farm Kronos/Apep/Fafnir 10 easily and already have 6-10 units built. That is when you can start saving some gold and do the hefty upgrades to fine tune your esper’s relic.

Also, slots Una II, IV and Mui II get priority upgrades first, especially if you are using a SPD or % based main stat. Since Una I, III and Mui I are flat stats and upgrading them will give you some improvement in mostly sub stats, they can be upgraded later. I will also say Mui I is good to upgrade for some extra flat hp if your DPS has trouble surviving early on.

What Relics Should You Keep?

This will be a good question. That will depend on where you are in the game. I follow a specific rule on what I sell. The only set that I do not keep is the Astral Witchcraft set. I only keep it if it is of Flawless quality (4 sub stats and 1 of them is speed). Other than that, below is the rough guideline:

  • Early game: Keep 5 stars until can farm Kronos 10
  • Mid game: Sell everything under 6 stars
  • Late game: Sell everything under 6 star superior
  • End game: Sell everything under 6 star superior with flat stats

The other exception is Wind Walker set at late game. I always keep them at if they are superior with flat stats BUT they have the SPD sub stat. I will try to roll the dice and see if I can get 3-4 rolls into SPD.

As for how I define the stages in the game:

  • Early game – Still building team for Kronos 10
  • Mid game – Can farm Apep 10 on auto battle without failing
  • Late game – Can farm Fafnir 10 on auto battle without failing much
  • End game – Have more than 15 very well geared heroes and challenging for top tier PvP.

Hopefully this guide was able to help you out with relics and how they work. Enjoy the grind and good luck with your relic drops!
