[Dislyte] F2P Guide to Kronos 10 Auto Farm for New Players
Spread the love

Welcome to the Kronos guide for free to play players! In this tutorial, we will guide you how to get your team to finally auto Kronos 10 with only units that everyone can get!

Why Focus on Kronos Dungeon?

Kronos is the easiest dungeon out of the 3 Boss Dungeons (the other 2 being Apep and Fafnir) and gives the vital starter sets such as:

  • Wind Walker – +25% Speed. Most popular set. More speed = more turns.
  • War Machine – Good for DPS. +30% attack.
  • Master Grove – +25% HP. Good for supports.
  • Apollo’s Bow – This is good for landing debuffs.
  • Snow Dowager – 25% freeze chance when attacked.
  • Stoneveins – Good for defense scaling units.

It allows you to farm enough Wind Walker sets, which is versatile on its own. Any unit can benefit from the Wind Walker set for bonus speed. More speed means better turn cycling and more damage/support/safety in general.

And having farmed enough of Kronos 10, it will also help ease you into Apep and Fafnir, which are both catered towards mid to late game players.

Here is an example run (100% Success Rate):

Kronos Basic Mechanics

So Kronos is a giant looking golem that is accompanied by 2 crystals that will try to disrupt you. Let’s look at the key mechanics of this boss.

  • Exploitation – Damages all enemies at once.
  • Death Kneel (Passive) – The lower the target’s HP, the higher the damage dealt by this attack. If this attack slays the target, grants an extra turn.
  • Earth Shaker (2 turns CD) –  Channels all of Kronos’ energies into an attack against all enemies. Then launches a severe strike against the enemy with the least health percentage and inflicts Stun for 1 turn.
  • Left Crystal – Hits everyone for minor damage and can stun anyone on the team.
  • Right Crystal – Cleanses the boss and grants him bonus about 30-50% AP push.

Also, thanks to Parallel Horizon, it has been confirmed that Kronos 10 has a 50% resistance. So having about 40% accuracy will be enough to reliably land your debuffs (there will always be 20% resist chance irregardless of accuracy).

The Sequence

The boss always starts off the first attack using Earth Shaker. The skill animation is seen as him raising his arm, charging energy and slams it on the ground. It hits your entire party and drops that nasty rock on your lowest health unit and stuns it.

He will then follow up with Exploitation. It is a roar attack. The left crystal will constantly stun your team every time it moves and the right will follow up with a cleanse on the boss and then boost its AP.

The following is very useful against Kronos:

  • Healing – A must have for a beginner team. Healing allows your team to sustain Krono’s attacks.
  • Immunity – This prevents your team from getting debuffed. Sometimes, getting 1-2 units stunned ruins the run.
  • Cleanse – Helps cleanse stuns and also good when dealing with the first 2 waves before Kronos.
  • Attack Buff – Good to have on your DPS units.
  • Defense Buff – Great for survival. There aren’t many F2P options to get this. Gabrielle and Ye Suhua have them.
  • Defense Break – This allows your DPS units to do 60% more damage.
  • Attack Down – Drops Krono’s attack by 40%. Very good for survival.
  • Invincibility – Take 0 damage from attacks.
  • Speed Down – Slows down the number of turns Kronos gets.
  • AP Up/Down/Absorb – Similar to speed down, but AP manipulation also helps with you getting more turns and Kronos getting less.

Having close to all of these will greatly improve your chances of auto-farming it successfully. Now let’s take a look at all the available F2P options. I define this as 3 stars you can easily pull, the fusion units and free units given to you or earned through beginner quests or Ripple Dimension.

The F2P Units

Mona (Artemis)

Mona is actually useful in getting you to higher Kronos difficulty. She has 2 AoE skills and can also deal damage to the crystals, sometimes killing the crystals in Kronos 1-7. Since she is primarily a farmer for me, she won’t be used in the final Kronos 10 auto team.

Li Ling (Nezha)

In the first 10 summons, you are guaranteed a 5★ to get either him or Tang Xuan (Sun Wukong). It is possible to also pull other 5★ as well alongside one of them. I highly recommend Li Ling over Tang Xuan as Li Ling has guaranteed HP% damage, which is very good against high HP Kronos and other bosses. Tang Xuan is wind element and does more RNG stuff, which I think is bad overall. You want stable runs, not random procs of various debuffs. I picked Li Ling as well and have not regret one bit. He has carried my team to Kronos 10 and Apep 10.

Brynn

Good early game to get you to Kronos 7. After that, she falls off as her weak element disadvantage makes her hard to use pass that. She has team attack buff, which can help your other DPS like Li Ling and Drew dish out more damage.

Helena

Similar to Brynn, she is good to get you to Kronos 7. She only has 1 heal and doesn’t provide any protection for the team. You will want to start building the next unit, Chang Pu, who will be part of the main F2P roster.

Chang Pu

One of the 3★ units that brings team immunity and healing to the table. Her skill 3 is an AoE immunity + heal. Her skill 2 is a single target heal. Both are very useful in keeping your team alive. Her skill 1 can reduce AP. It is useful if you have enough accuracy stats to land it though. The higher the difficulty, the more accuracy you need. However, do not worry if you do not have enough. Her main job is to heal and keep your team from getting debuffed.

Q (Cupid)

Q is actually very useful in taking your team to Kronos 8+. He has 3 useful debuffs. Defense break on skill 1, attack down on skill 2 and soul linked on skill 3. He rotates the skills pretty well and landing any of these is going to help you survive better. I personally have his abilities maxed out. He will not be in the final team, but he helps with the progression to the final team. Plus, he is quite useful when climbing the Spatial Tower.

Unky Chai (Yue Lao)

He is a good support that is often overlooked. His passive gives crit rate and attack buff to random allies. If the ally has an attack buff already, their cooldown will be reduced. His skill 3 gives the entire team attack buff. His skill 1 pushes himself up so he can take more turns. Also viable for Apep as well.

Drew (Anubis)

One of the key units in the final team. He brings defense break to the table on his skill 2. His 3rd skill also helps with killing the first 2 waves of Kronos. Once he is geared, he hits hard and will be a staple DPS. Keeping him alive is key and the following units will help with that.

Fabrice (Fused)

Fabrice is a wind support (weak element I know) that provides immunity to the entire team and give invincibility to one user. This helps when he casts on the unit with the lowest health and Kronos dumps his rock on it, doing no damage. On auto though, he doesn’t always pick the correct unit to place the invincibility, but it works most of the time.

His second skill pushes an ally up and gives them an attack buff as well. His skill 1 provides recovery to the ally with lowest health. Overall, his kit is decent for Kronos and is passable for a F2P team. Fusing him is quick as you will just need Berenice and 3 other espers of 3 star rarity and 1 of each element (Inferno, Wind, Flow) and he can be gotten easily. And he is also a fusion material for Gabrielle.

Gabrielle (Fused)

Gabrielle is also another wind support (gasp!). Hear me out though, her kit is very strong and if you didn’t pull any defense buffers, she will help here. Her third skill gives immunity and defense buff + apply attack down on the enemy. This will help you survive. Her skill 2 applies defense break on all enemies. Keep in mind that since she is weak element, she will miss sometimes and your debuff won’t land.

Her leader skill is 30% HP for all allies, which will help you survive if you don’t have enough damage yet. Also, fusing her is pretty quick. I played everyday and did stamina refills and I was able to fuse her in about 4-5 days. A more casual player will most likely take 2 weeks or so to fused it. That isn’t too bad granted that most other games have an even longer grind time for a very rare unit.

Ye Suhua (Ripple Dimension Only)

Probably the best unit that can replace Gabrielle, Fabrice or Chang Pu. The only problem is that she is exclusive to Ripple Dimension, which requires luck and speed to farm those. For busy people, she is not a viable option and may take forever to get it. She offers both attack and defense buff on skill 3 (which is rare) and a heal , recovery + invincibility buff on skill 2. Her skill 1 offers an attack down debuff. All these are useful skills to help you survive Kronos, which is why she is such a popular pick.

Freddy

A good single target DPS that is easily available. His most useful skill is his second skill, where he gets standoff, which prevents him from getting 1 shot. He also gets attack buff from skill 2, making him a viable replacement for Li Ling if you decided to go with Tang Xuan as your starter DPS in your initial 10 pulls. Alongside Drew, he can be your Kronos and Apep 10 DPS units. Plus, he benefits from doing more damage as his health gets lower.

Dhalia (Ripple Dimension Only)

Similar to Ye Suhua, she is only available in Ripple. She offers a few good things. Skill 3 gives attack and crit rate buff +25% AP push, which is huge for getting more turns overall. Her skill 2 applies speed down, which again makes Kronos take less turns overall. Her skill 1 can stun but doesn’t help here.  She is also a popular PvP unit, so there is another reason to build her.

Melanie (Medusa, Club Only)

Can be gotten from Club Shop. She is an AP manipulator that has a a passive that reduces enemy AP. She can inflict speed down on skill 1 and skill 3 is AoE AP reduction, which is useful in also pushing the crystals back as well. This effectively makes Kronos very slow and take way less turns, making your team more durable.

Final F2P Team for Kronos 10

This consists of:

  • Gabrielle (Leader) – Provides Hp% gain for more survivability.
  • Li Ling – Possible leader as well, with 30% ATK instead of 30% HP.
  • Fabrice – Provide immunity, invincibility and attack buff
  • Chang Pu – Healer and provides team immunity
  • Drew – For defense break and damage.

Now that this team is all at 6 stars full ascended, it can do both Kronos 10 and Apep 10 on auto. Here is the video link to the same team doing Apep 10 (3:20 minutes average and 98% Success Rate): https://youtu.be/5hkcVrIH6Yk

When I don’t have much time to play, I will run that and also do the Kronos/Apep 10 expedition at the cost of 18 stamina. Very well worth the stamina as you get about 10-14 pieces of relics after 8 hours. Fafnir is hard and requires multi hitters such as Tang Yun and Berenice, which is also a F2P team. Stay tuned for that guide!

As you improve your relics, so will your run times and survivability.

Getting the Relics For Kronos 10 Progress

This is the hard part. I think the key pieces to get there can vary from person to person. Since the drops are different and it may take shorter or longer depending on luck. However, there are some key pieces that you will get that helps tremendously.

  • Chapter 6 Normal – 4 set War Machine 4★ (Attack +30%) – Crit Rate%, Atk% on Una slots II/IV
  • Chapter 9 Normal – 4 set Hades 5★ (Lifesteal +35%) – Crit Rate%, Atk% on Una slots II/IV
  • Tournament Shop – 2 set The Light Above 6★ (grants immunity) – Atk% on Mui II
  • Cube Shop – 4 set War Machine 6★ – Crit Rate%, Atk% on Una slots II/IV
  • Spatial Tower 80 – 4 set Wind Walker 6★ – Hp%, Hp% on Una slots II/IV

These are guaranteed sets that everyone can get in the game. Make sure to get slots II/IV when you buy from the shop since % stats give more overall.

At the beginning stages, just use whatever set with speed main stat you can find.

The random part is finding 4-6★ speed main stat for the 2 sets on Adamantine, Master Grove, Fiery Incandescence or Apollo’s Bow. In fact, any set with the speed main stat will do. The goal is to get your units fast enough so they are getting more turns to cast their skills. Here is the speed difference:

  • 4★ – 38 at +15
  • 5★ – 40 at +15
  • 6★ – 45 at +15

So you can start using the 4★ ones if you find it. It will help your DPS and support cycle skills faster. If you are lucky, you might even roll more speed sub stats. For Kronos 1-7, low speed won’t hinder you too much. It is only at difficulty 8+ is where Kronos and the crystals are faster. In fact, you can get to Kronos 7 easily with the War Machine/Hades set given in normal story and by making your whole team 5★, fully ascension phase 6.

If you have trouble finding Hp%, Atk% and Spd pieces, I also recommend looking at the Gold shop every 5 hours or so when it refreshes for potential good pieces.

Below are the stats of my team:

They are wearing:

  • Li Ling – 6★ War Machine/The Light Above (Crit R%, Atk%, Atk%)
  • Gabrielle – Spatial Tower 80 6★ Wind Walker/Immensus Peak (Hp%, Hp%, Spd)
  • Chang Pu – 5/6★ mix Wind Walker/Adamantine (Hp%, Hp%, Spd)
  • Drew – 5★ Hades/Light Above (Crit R%, Atk%, Atk%)
  • Fabrice – 5★ Wind Walker/Stoneveins (Hp%, Hp%, Spd)

All pieces are +12 while some are at +15. Gabrielle, Drew and Chang Pu, Fabrice are max skilled, while Li Ling has no skill ups. Just 1 person on your team needs the Adamantine set. Most likely Gabrielle, Fabrice or Chang Pu since they have higher health. That extra shield really helps with taking the initial hit.

6★ Priority (Who to Promote First)

Currently stuck on Purgatory 3 XP Stage.

So you have enough starimons to get 2 espers easily from the quest and beginner course rewards early on. So I would recommend Li Ling and Drew to 6 stars first. I actually promoted Mona first as she is the farmer. However, Li Ling can do that job as well (just a tad slower), so it will save you 1 promotion and 1 step closer to Kronos 10 runs. Gabrielle, Chang Pu and Fabrice will be on the list after that.

After that, you need to start running XP stages to get 3★ starimons or from the following.

3★ Starimons

  • Gold Shop – 1 per day at least for 50k gold
  • Friendship Shop – 1 at 100 friendship points
  • Cube Shop – 1 at 100 blue cube points (you can get as many as you wish)
  • Club Shop – 1 per week at Level 5 Club requirement
  • Random drops from story mode and XP stage
  • Daily Quest – 1 per day

4★ Starimons

  • Tournament Shop – 2 per week at 200 PvP tokens each
  • Club Shop – 1 per week at Level 7 Club Requirement
  • 2 from daily gifts on days 10 and 20

5★ Starimons

  • Tournament Shop – 1 per week at 1000 PvP tokens each

The way to farm fodder is to use either Li Ling or Mona and slot in 4 starimons and level them. Once they hit max level, promote them to 5★ starimons. Then you fuse them to your esper. XP stages also give decent gold.

Conclusion

That is about it. Hope the stats and how to get the relics will help you get to Kronos 10 auto farm. Once you get there, transition from early game to mid game starts here. There will be a lot of farming and upgrading to do before pushing for late game and challenge other players in PvP, doing harder content like the Temporal Tower and so on.

The good thing about this team is that it can also farm Apep 10, so you can also transition into promoting units that are good at Apep. That will be the next guide!

For those that are interested in the drop rates of Kronos 10, DaddyF2P did 3000 runs and was able to collect the following data below:

So on average, we can expect about 68 six-star relics per 100 runs. Assuming all five and four star relics are sold, you will get about 500k gold from those after 100 runs. Out of the 68 six star relics, if 5 were really good pieces, then your total gold earned would be 998k gold, about 1 million per 100 runs.

Also, if here is the guideline for know which relic pieces to keep:

  • Early game: Keep 5 stars until you can farm Kronos 10
  • Mid game: Sell everything under 6 stars
  • Late game: Sell everything under 6 star superior
  • End game: Sell everything under 6 star superior with flat stats

The other exception is Wind Walker set at late game. I always keep them if they are superior with flat stats BUT they have the SPD sub stat. I will try to roll the dice and see if I can get 3-4 rolls into SPD.

That is it. Hope this helps you in your journey to Kronos 10 auto runs!
